Today, our thoughts and gratitude go out to D Company, 2nd Battalion, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. The elite glider‑borne assault force that carried out Operation Deadstick — the coup‑de‑main attack that captured Pegasus Bridge and Horsa Bridge in the first minutes of D‑Day. They were the very first Allied troops to land in Normandy.

Last weekend we demonstrated how four bands can come together to support our colleagues in the 2nd Battalion, THE RIFLES.
Players and Buglers were flown over to Lisburn, Northern Ireland
to take part in a medal parade and garden party held in the fabulous grounds of Hillsborough Castle...
