Our next Rail & Trail Adventure is coming up on Saturday 19 September.

Travel aboard the Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge, then join local Mountain Leader Claire Goodman-Jones for a guided 4.5-mile moderate walk along grassy paths and tracks, heading towards the spectacular landmark known as The Arch. Expect fantastic views across Devil’s Bridge and towards the Cambrian Mountains. 🌿

If you live in Ceredigion, you can benefit from a 50% reduction on the train fare as part of our local residents' offer. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy this special experience right on your doorstep, for less!

It's a beautiful morning here at the railway as engine no. 8 departs for Devil's Bridge.

There are still plenty of seats available for today's 14:00 departure, and if you live in Ceredigion you can enjoy 50% off standard class tickets, or 30% off first class today, and throughout September!

148 crews signed up for this year's JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion 2026, and the remaining entries are about to head into service before eight stages.

Today begins with SS5, Aberffrwd 1, with the first car starting at 8.55 am.
