AUCUA congratulates all those matriculating at Aberdeen in 21/22.

We’re looking forward to meeting you soon – we’ll be at the Freshers’ Fayre on the 22nd, and we’ve a Pub Crawl on the 24th (this Friday), so see you then!

We would like to thank Douglas Ross MP for taking the time to answer questions from members of the Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow University Conservative Associations, along with those of Scottish Young Conservative members.

Safe to say, we had an excellent evening and are inspired by Douglas’ vision for Scotland.

We are delighted to announce Andrew Bowie MP as our new honorary president. 🎉

Andrew has a long and special history with AUCUA, previously serving as our President in the year 2012-2013. 🕰

We hope to build on our strong relationship moving forward, as Andrew continues to engage with young conservatives in the party. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

Hello everyone and welcome to the Aberdeen University Conservative and Unionist Association. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

We hope that you are all having a great day and are looking forward to the year ahead! 🎉

The bulk of our activity comes from our socials at various pubs. Our most frequent social event is Pint and Policy, where we have a casual discussion about predetermined policies or ideas. 🍻

We also go out campaigning with our local MPs, MSPs and Councillors. The 2021 Scottish Parliament election is just around the corner. You can join us if you would like to help to get Scottish Conservative and Unionist MSPs elected, as many of our members will be active in the campaign. 🌳

In addition to this, we plan trips to Holyrood, Westminster and to the annual party conferences. For example, we had a trip to the Scottish Parliament organised for March 26 this year. Unfortunately, this had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, but we aim to host a similar trip in the future (if possible). 🏛
