GOOD NEWS ~ The gull trapped at Vue Vue Cinema in Rhyl has been rescued by Kath Hutchison our Friend and Rehabber in Rhyl and 6 Firefighters from Rhyl Fire Station. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

He is currently being checked over by Kath and we will keep you updated with his progress. 🐦 Well done Kath Hutchison and six Fire Fighters.

NO THANKS TO Vue who stood around and laughed and threatened Kath with being arrested. 😠

This is the second trapped gull in a single weekend and we will be continuing to take the matter up with Vue who need to take that netting down and should be prosecuted.

On the first day of Christmas....

Herrings Gulls are our most admitted species! So far this year we have admitted 830, many of which have wounds or have been tangled in discarded fishing hooks.
They are not everyone's favourite here on the south coast, but did you know that Herring Gulls are decreasing globally? That means that each gull we are able to release is a huge conservation success!
