Aberdeenshire Council are looking at the support available for young people who have been previously Looked After when they are ready to move on to independent living. We are looking to gather as many views as possible on this, while we look for a way to transform the support available in in line with our young people’s needs. If you have experience of caring for a young person who has moved on to independent living, or if you are caring for a teenager who may be in this position in the next few years then we would really like to hear from you. We have a short 4 question survey which should only take a couple of minutes to complete which you can find here: https://forms.office.com/e/bq4DUwScpE

If you would like to attend this event please RSVP to:virtual.school@aberdeenshire.gov.uk 😀

🖐️🖐️ Primary School Parents - free online evening sessions to help you to support your child with maths: additional session added Wed 4th and Wed 11th December 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Other candidates were worried they would have to "do" maths at this session - this is not the case, we explain about maths anxiety, show you where to find resources which will greatly benefit in understanding what children are taught step by step and basic terminologies which might have changed since you were at school.

These sessions will provide:

🟢improved confidence in using your own mathematical skills;
🟠an insight into what your child needs to know and where to find resources to support their learning;
🟡and practical ways to support your child’s mathematical understanding.
These sessions are free and to access it you must be 19+, live, work or volunteer in Aberdeenshire and do NOT have a Nat 5 Maths pass or equivalent (Credit Standard Grade/Intermediate 2/O'Level/O'grade C+).

If you have any queries please email [email protected] or [email protected].
➡️ Enrol here for the Primary Session - Wed 4th and Wed 11th December 6:30 - 8:30 PM. https://forms.office.com/e/UmU25RyZxJ
