Family fun at the Swannery 🦢💚

Alongside the adorable cygnets at this time of year, there are plenty of family activities that visitors love. Enjoy the Brambly Hedge Official Trail, complete with a dressing-up area, a mountain to climb, and stamp points to collect along the way.

And don't forget the pedal go-karts (weather permitting) – always a firm favourite with little adventurers!

Wholesome fun, fresh air, and plenty to explore, all perfectly suited to the relaxed atmosphere of the Swannery.

No picky eaters here! 😂 Everyone’s diving straight into their breakfast. 🌱 Cygnets eat chick crumb, the adults wheat and grass is a firm favourite for all the family.

There’s so much to explore and discover this week, including the delightful Brambly Hedge Official Trail featuring The High Hills and Sea Story 🐭📚

✨ Daily mass swan feeds at 12pm & 4pm
🦢 Meet the cygnets and swan families
🌿 Wander through the willow swan maze
🏎️ Enjoy the pedal go-karts
☀️ Relax in the shady spots beneath the trees or soak up the sunshine in the swan field

Thank you to everyone who visited over the last two days 🤍 We know the beach was probably calling ☀️🌊 The food & craft fair is not on today but the Swannery is open!

A huge thank you to Dorset Food & Drink and all of the amazing stallholders, West Hill Donkeys, Weymouth’s award winning beach donkeys, Fangs'n'Feathers, engine and vintage car groups, who helped make it such a lovely weekend ✨ plus the Swannery team, shop and cafe staff. We hope you enjoyed some delicious food and drink in the sunshine like these guys 🍴☀️

Now back to cygnet content 🦢 There are still nests hatching, and lots of beautiful cygnets can still be spotted across the site 🤍
