Soutenir et mieux faire connaître le rôle de la Convention européenne des droits de l'homme et le travail de la Cour est essentiel.

Important discussion with Monaco’s Secretary of State for Justice, Samuel Vuelta Simon, as the country took on the presidency of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. It is essential to support and raise awareness of the role of the European Convention on Human Rights and the work of the Court.

Advancing recognition of this vital right at international, regional and national levels is essential to protecting present and future generations in the face of the triple planetary crisis.

I met with Ukrainians displaced to France by Russia’s war. Hearing about their experiences and concerns has reinforced my commitment to standing by them. Every person displaced by the war in should be guaranteed a secure legal status and access to rights for as long as protection is needed.
