Hello Facebook! We’ve been having a pretty busy week as Reni had rehearsals and a concert with Razorlight in the UK…of course, with baby Marcel in tow.

As you know from previous posts, we’re looking for color inspiration for our front door + kitchen entrance and we’ve been leaning towards a shade of green. Here are a couple of samples from a long walk we took in London on our day off. Which tone of green do you think would work well at La Ferté? Let us know in the comments. ( #1, #2, or #3)

Happy spring from La Ferte! We wanted to share a quick update.

It’s been an incredibly busy time of year for us: on top of work progressing at the chateau, we’ve both been back to our day jobs - taking several trips to Paris and finding our new rhythm with baby Marcel.

Gustavo wrapped up one of his latest Parisian architect projects while Reni Lane played her first concerts since becoming a mom…and it was a very special occasion: opening for friends and collaborators PAPOOZ at three sold-out shows in Paris! They just released a track together titled ‘I Don’t Feel The Same’ which you can have a listen at the link in our comments (the whole album is great and has many features from the band’s group of musician friends).

It’s very important for us to not lose touch with our careers and the creative people that surround us because our ultimate goal is to turn La Ferté into a hub for artistic collaboration. TLDR: We’ve been featured in Vogue Italia !

Under normal circumstances, no one in their right mind would invite a publication to photograph them in their home one month post-partum (much less Italian Vogue)! But we were not afraid, and having a dear friend behind the camera made it easy… Thank you Vogue Italia for showcasing our life’s project to turn Chateau de la Ferté into a cultural hub. We will forever treasure these images capturing such a sweet moment in our life with our new little treasure.

What a weekend! Over 100 people came through our gates for Journées du Patrimoine ✨ We were a little overwhelmed (in the best way), and even had a surprise visit from three sisters who were born in the château. 🕰️💛

Our goal was to open the grounds and show the very beginning steps of this restoration (the “before”). Big projects take time, and we’re grateful to have a wonderful community along for the ride. 🌿🏰

PS: No video this past weekend as you may have noticed - we were too busy - but expect several back-to-back uploads in the coming weeks! 🎥

Quel week-end ! Plus de 100 personnes ont franchi nos portes à l'occasion des Journées du Patrimoine ✨ Nous avons été un peu débordés (dans le meilleur sens du terme) et avons même reçu une visite surprise de trois sœurs nées dans le château. 🕰️💛

Notre objectif était d'ouvrir le domaine et de montrer les toutes premières étapes de cette restauration (l'« avant »). Les grands projets prennent du temps, et nous sommes ravis d'avoir une communauté formidable qui nous accompagne dans cette aventure. 🌿🏰

PS : Comme vous l'avez peut-être remarqué, il n'y a pas eu de vidéo ce week-end, car nous étions trop occupés, mais attendez-vous à plusieurs publications consécutives dans les semaines à venir !
