We would like to introduce you to a beautiful 17th Century building called Chateau de Pleurs. The Chateau is just over 1 hour 30 from Charles de Gaulle airport.

When it was purchased in 2013 it was crying out to be renovated and brought back to its former glory. It has so many original features, beautifully carved marble fireplaces, ancient tapestries and oak flooring .The new owners have worked hard to keep its ancient charm whilst bringing in a few 21st century necessities. Pleurs is a village in the Cote de Blanc region of Champagne Ardenne. There is a

small supermarket, Restaurant de la Paix serving local specialities, a pharmacy and hairdressers. The Chateau is about ten minutes from the pretty town of Sezanne and plenty of small champagne makers. A picturesque drive of about 30 minutes takes you up to Epernay and then further on to the Montagne de Reims and the Cathedral City itself.The medieval town of Troyes is about a 40 minute drive where you can find lots of lovely places to eat, drink and shop.
