On , PUR reflects on impactful nature-positive projects in the Peruvian Amazon—which feature special "community benefit activities" that increase participation in .

🌳 To motivate local communities to protect the Amazon rainforest, PUR collaborates on unique economic initiatives in Peru—including , tree nurseries, fish breeding, and beekeeping.

🌱 We also generate employment by recruiting "forest custodians" to help protect conservation areas, and by hiring technicians at tree nurseries to supply seedlings for our agroforestry projects.

Together, we can reduce in the Amazon through community-based approaches, with capacity building and training programs for local communities. This helps support the of Peruvian cocoa farmers, while also enhancing our collective impact on this vital rainforest ecosystem.
