👋 Meet our new Associate Project Managers – Agnes & Astrid! 👋

We are happy to welcome Agnes Hellgren and Astrid Vedin as our new Associate Project Managers, joining the CCSF team for the coming year. Their time at the Chamber is supported by scholarships from the Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad and SFS - Stiftelsen Svensk-Franska Språkfonden.

Agnes Hellgren holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics, with a specialization in Economics and French, from Linköping University. During her studies, Agnes completed an exchange year at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, where she studied International Economics. She has a strong interest in international relations, with a particular focus on French-Swedish relations.
With roots in Stockholm and experience living, studying and working in Paris, Agnes has developed a strong connection to both Sweden and France. At the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France, Agnes’ responsibilities will include communications and marketing, as well as PR and event planning. She will also support the organisation of the French-Swedish Innovation Forum in Stockholm. Agnes looks forward to gaining first-hand experience of the French-Swedish business environment and engaging with the companies and professionals that shape it.

Astrid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Paris 1 Panthéon‑Sorbonne and is now pursuing a Master’s in Environment, Energy and Transport Economics at Université Paris Nanterre and CentraleSupélec. Originally from Sweden’s High Coast region, she has a strong interest in international cooperation and sustainability, and previously contributed to socio‑economic analysis and mobility research at the Laboratoire Ville Mobilité Transports (LVMT).
Astrid is eager to deepen her understanding of French-Swedish business relations - an experience that complements her interest in innovation and mobility transitions between France and the Nordic countries. At CCSF, she will support financial administration, the domiciliation service, the monthly newsletter, and the organisation of the French‑Swedish Innovation Forum in Stockholm this October.

We look forward to a great year with Agnes and Astrid as part of the CCSF team!

🎖️ A prestigious French distinction recognising an exceptional commitment to French-Swedish relations.

We are immensely proud to announce that Gîta Paterson, President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France, has been promoted to the rank of Officer of the Legion of Honour.
The insignia was presented on 2 September by H.E Thierry C. Ambassador of France to Sweden during a ceremony at the Résidence de France in Stockholm.

In his speech, the Ambassador paid tribute to Gîta’s remarkable career and unwavering dedication:
“Through your achievements, you have been a true ambassador of our shared values, contributing directly to the economic influence of our two countries and to the strengthening of French-Swedish friendship.”

For more than three decades, Gîta has worked tirelessly to develop economic and cultural ties between France and Sweden. She has led the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France for 25 years with energy, vision and commitment, building lasting connections between companies, institutions and diplomatic stakeholders in both countries.

This distinguished honour recognises not only Gîta’s outstanding contribution to bilateral economic relations, but also her efforts to promote the French language in Sweden, academic exchanges with France and the friendship between our two nations.
Warmest congratulations, dear Gîta, on this remarkable and well-deserved distinction!

🤍 Wrapping up the season with YP 🤍

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday evening for our White Cocktail, organised by CCSF Young Professionals in collaboration with the Jeune Chambre de Commerce Franco-Finlandaise.

It was a pleasure to welcome so many Nordic young professionals to our rooftop terrace for an evening filled with new connections and a fantastic summer atmosphere. Events like these remind us how valuable it is to bring our communities together and create opportunities to expand our networks across borders.

As this was our final Young Professionals event before the summer break, we would also like to thank our entire network for an incredible season throughout autumn 2025 and spring 2026. Your enthusiasm, engagement and support have helped make every event a success, and we are truly grateful to have such an active and inspiring community.

We wish you all a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you again after the holidays for a new season of networking, inspiring discussions and exciting events.
