Located in his beloved Provence region, Christian Dior undertook important works at the chateau from the 1950’s.

He wished to make his “real home” there, saying the chateau was “simple, solid and noble”. After an intense restoration period, the Chateau de la Colle Noire was inaugurated by the House of Dior in May 2016, regaining its original purpose to welcome “the friends of the house”. The Chateau de La Colle Noire embodies a ‘return to roots’ for the House of Dior with the cultivation of flowers and the creation of perfumes in the great Grasse countryside.
