Dear student,
Are you interested in themes like Water and Climate Change, Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystem Nexus and Sustainable Water Quality? From 16 to 18 October the international conference Water Science for Impact takes place in Wageningen (https://www.wageningenwaterconference.com/).
This conference aims at exchanging scientific knowledge and bridging gaps between scientists, policy makers, NGOs and the business community.
Participation in one or a few sessions only (without lunch or dinner) is free. Also, we are looking for some room assistants that can help speakers in setting up presentations, registrations and other small tasks. If you help for a day, you can join the rest of the conference for free (including lunches and dinners). If you are interested in helping as a room assistant, you can send an e-mail to [email protected].
Another opportunity to work with these themes is to join the workshops on Monday the 15th of October (https://www.wur.nl/en/article/Monday-15-October-2018-Student-Workshops.htm).
Also, during the conference an escape room will be placed on campus where you can experience what types of problems there are in the field of water. More information on how to participate in this, will follow.
