On this page you will be able to follow Søren Tvede og Ole Hauch's Pacific Crest Scenic Trail hike spring, summer and autumn 2022. The purpose of this page is to give our families, friends, business relations and others a possibility to follow the hike. The majority part of the hike we will be outside mobile coverage and therefore we will only post updates periodically. Until the start of the trip, we will post updates about our planning, training trips, etc. The first really important milestone is the "Thru Hike Permit" which we hope to achieve October 2021. Most posts will be made via Instagram, so see the photo section to follow the trip chronologically.

Our training hike has ended today in Chamonix Mt Blanch. We, the 2 young guys, agree it have been a surprisingly big success and a great experience and we are confident we can be ready for the PCT in march 2022.

Can we do the PCT? Today we did 32 km, ascent 1.170 m, descent 2.041 m. Are we broken and not ready tomorrow? No. PCT - Yes we can 👍

From Lac Vert up to Port d'Hiver then down, and then up again to Col de Coux then down to Refuge de Chardonniere ... And then up to Col de la Golese. Lots of ascent and even more descent
