A memorable evening at the Japanese 🇯🇵Residence in Suva.

We were delighted to attend an excellent farewell dinner in honour of 🇩🇪 Ambassador Dr. Prothmann. The evening combined outstanding hospitality, exquisite cuisine and warm conversations among friends and partners.

Our sincere thanks to our Japanese host, H.E. Ambassador Tamaji for creating such a gracious setting to celebrate Ambassador Dr. Prothmann’s contribution and friendship. Moments like these highlight the strong bonds between Germany, Japan and the Pacific region.

3 years went by so fast!!

Today H.E. Ambassador Dr Prothmann had the opportunity to pay a farewell courtesy call on Pacific Islands Forum Secretary General Baron Waqa.

Over the past three years, he has witnessed first-hand the strength, resilience, and vision of the Pacific region. Germany 🇩🇪 is proud to stand alongside Pacific partners in advancing climate resilience, biodiversity protection, ocean governance, and sustainable development and hopes to continue to do so as a strategic partner in the future.

As he concludes his posting, H.E. Dr Prothmann would like to thank all those who have contributed to strengthening Germany-Pacific relations.
