from some of our participants at the ‘Leading Through Sports and Strengthening Community’ customized Program we facilitated for Nadi Touch Rugby Association under their Ranadi Touch Championship Initiative Program.

It has been a month now since we completed this Program, and we are proud of the impact these women have had on their respective touch rugby communities and families.

At Leadership Fiji, we believe that nurturing purpose-driven leaders creates a ripple effect of positive change. These leaders become catalysts for transformation and strengthening the sporting community in Fiji.

We look forward to continuing this journey of empowering communities through leadership and sports.

This evening, Tuesday 9th June 2026 we gathered with our leaders, friends and alumni for our Leaders Lounge event on the theme, "Entrepreneurial Insights".

We had our very own Alumni and Fellows as speakers and moderator:

Moderator: Anare Manulevu (LF2005 and Leadership (Fiji) Foundation Trustee) and Partner - Head of Advisory, KPMG Fiji.

Our Speakers were:
- Liz Maki (LF2009), Director of Liz Fitness;
- Yaco Tabaiwalu (LF2021), Co-Owner and Managing Director of Ah Sam and Tabaiwalu Pte Ltd; Hilltop Beer Garden. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis at Lyndhurst;
- Vera Chute (ELP2024), Managing Director of Value City (SP) Pte Ltd.

Our speakers shared their perspectives on the theme: Entrepreneurial Insights.

These monthly Leaders Lounge events are at the heart of our 25th Anniversary celebrations this year.

While the conversations for this month's Leaders Lounge have ended, the thinking, reflections and connections continue.

Our Leaders Lounge event series is held every second Tuesday from February to October 2026, creating a consistent space for connection, insight and sharing of wisdom.

25 years of shaping leaders for Fiji, and today we honour the voices that carried us through even the quietest seasons.

During our 20th anniversary, COVID-19 meant no big gatherings, no fanfare and no stage lights. But our Alumni still showed up with heart. They shared reflections that captured the essence of Leadership Fiji: growth, courage, connection and service.

Many of these Alumni have since moved on to new opportunities and new callings.

Isn’t it powerful that we captured their reflections back then? Here is a snapshot of who they were at the time, and their reflections of the impact that Leadership Fiji had on them.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we bring their words back to the fore. Their journeys continue, and so does ours.
