In partnership with the Ministry of Health Fiji, Aspen Medical is proud to support the Pacific Islands Pacemaker Service (PIPS), bringing FREE pacemaker checkups to those who need it most.

Twice a year, a dedicated team of volunteer heart specialists, cardiac physiologists and nurses from New Zealand travel to Fiji to provide life changing care, including pacemaker implants for patients across the country.

At Lautoka Hospital, access to specialised services such as electrocardiograms (ECG) and our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterisation Lab ensures seamless monitoring and support for patients living with pacemakers. The PIPS team at Lautoka Hospital currently follows up with over 150 patients, ensuring ongoing care and regular monitoring.

A pacemaker does not just regulate the heart, it can extend a patient’s life by up to 10 years, giving more time for what truly matters. ❤️
