Today is a significant and motivating turning point in our joint academic endeavour and project cooperation. Memorandum of Understanding is signed between the University of Warsaw, represented by the Rektor of the university, Professor, Dr. Hab Alojzy Z. Nowak and the Tigray Culture and Tourism Bureau, represented Dr Atsbha Gebreeziabher, head of the bureau. This has the privilege of assuring our mutual dedication to intellectual exchange, knowledge advancement, and cultural preservation.
The agreement covers a number of important areas of collaboration, such as:
✍️ Initiatives for staff exchange between universities throughout Tigray and the Tigray Culture and Tourism Bureau are intended to improve academic capability and promote mutual learning.
✍️ Long-term continuation of the Negash historical and archaeological research initiatives, guaranteeing the preservation and investigation of one of the most important heritage sites in Africa.
✍️ More cooperative frameworks intended to strengthen institutional ties and encourage long-term scientific and cultural collaboration.
In order to discuss ongoing work and interact with eminent academics in the field, we had the honour of presenting my research at the Faculty of African and Asian Studies after the signing ceremony.
