የቤልጄም ባለሀብቶች በኢትዮጵያ በተለያዩ የኢንቨስትመንት ዘርፎች ለመሰማራት ያላቸው ፍላጎት እያደገ መምጣቱ ተገለጸ ።
አዲስ አበባ ሚያዚያ 9/ 2018 ዓ.ም(ኢ.ኢ.ኮ) ፦ በኢትዮጵያ የቤልጀም ኤምባሲ አዘጋጅነት በቅርቡ በሉክሰምበርግና በቤልጅየም በሚካሄደው የኢትዮጵያ–ቤንሉክስ የንግድ ፎረምን ስኬታማ ለማድረግ ያለመ መድረክ በአዲስ አበባ ተካሂዷል።።
በመድረኩ ንግግር ያደረጉት የኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ምክትል ኮሚሽነር አቶ ዝናቡ ይርጋ፣ ኢትዮጵያ በአሁኑ ወቅት ሰፊ የኢንቨስትመንት ከባቢ ለማሻሻል ሰፋፊ ማሻሻያዎችን እያደረገች መሆኑን ጠቅሰው ፤ ኮሚሽኑም የአሰራር ደንቦችን ተገማች እና ምቹ በማድረግ ኢትዮጵያን ለባለሀብቶች ተመራጭ የኢንቨስትመንት መዳረሻ ለማድረግ በትኩረት እየተሰራ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል ።
ምክትል ኮሚሽነሩ አክለውም በግንቦት ወር 2018 ዓ.ም በቤልጂየም እና በሉክሰምበርግ የሚካሄደው የኢትዮጵያ-ቤንሉክስ ቢዝነስ ፎረም በአገራቱ መካከል ያለውን የመቶ ዓመታት የዲፕሎማሲ ግንኙነት ወደ ላቀ የኢኮኖሚ አጋርነት ለመቀየር ትልቅ ምዕራፍ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
በዚህም በተለይም በግብርና፣ በማኑፋክቸሪንግ፣ በቴክኖሎጂ እና በታዳሽ ኃይል ዘርፎች የቤኔሉክስ አገራት ካላቸው ዓለም አቀፍ ልምድና ዕውቀት ጋር በመቀናጀት በኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስት እንዲያደርጉ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል ።
በኢትዮጵያ የቤልጅየም አምባሳደር ዶክተር አኔሊስ ቨርስቲቸል በበኩላቸው የቤልጄም ባለሀብቶች በኢትዮጵያ በተለያዩ የኢንቨስትመንት ዘርፎች ለመሳተፍ ፍላጎት እንዳላቸው ገልጸው ይህንንም ለማሳካት ኤምባሲው አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ ለማድረግ ዝግጁ መሆናቸውን ገልጸዋል።
የቤልጀም፣ሎክሰምበረግ፣ኔዘርላንድ የአፍሪካ፣ካሪቢያንና ፓስፊክ የንግድ ቻምበር በየዓመቱ የሚያዘጋጀው የኢትዮ ቤንሉክስ ቢዝነስ ፎረም ባሳለፍነው አመት በአዲስ አበባ መካሄዱ የሚታወስ ነው።
Belgian Investors' Growing Interest in Engaging in Various Investment Sectors in Ethiopia.
Addis Ababa, April 17, 2026 – A preparatory meeting aimed at ensuring the success of the upcoming Ethiopia-Benelux Business Forum, scheduled to be held shortly in Luxembourg and Belgium, was recently organized in Addis Ababa by the Embassy of Belgium in Ethiopia.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Mr. Zenabu Yirga, noted that Ethiopia is currently undertaking wide-ranging reforms to significantly improve the investment climate. He stated that the Commission is working diligently to make Ethiopia a preferred investment destination for investors by streamlining and making regulations more conducive.
The Deputy Commissioner added that the Ethiopia-Benelux Business Forum, to be held in Belgium and Luxembourg in May 2018, marks a significant milestone in transforming the century-old diplomatic relations between the countries into a higher level of economic partnership. He extended an invitation for investment in Ethiopia, particularly in the agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and renewable energy sectors, integrating with the international experience and knowledge of the Benelux countries.
On her part, the Ambassador of Belgium to Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Annelies Verstichel, stated that Belgian investors have an interest in participating in various investment sectors in Ethiopia, and that the embassy is ready to provide the necessary support to achieve this.
It is to be recalled that the annual Ethiopia-Benelux Business Forum, organized by the African, Caribbean, and Pacific Chamber of Commerce of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, was held last year in Addis Ababa.
