سپین کے صدر پیدرو سانچز کا سانحہ کوئٹہ پر اظہار تعزیت انہوں نے کہا ہے کہ میری اور میرے ملک سپین کی تمام تر ہمدردی متاثرین سانحہ. ان کے خاندان اور حکومت پاکستان کے ساتھ ہیں. ہمیں مل کر دہشت گردی کے، خلاف جنگ لڑنا ہوگی. ہم اس جنگ میں ایک ہیں اور اکٹھے ہیں. انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ہم دنیا بھر میں ہر طرح کی دہشت گردی کی مذمت کرتے ہیں( trans- hafiz abdul Razaq sahib)

Ambassador of Pakistan H.E Khayyam Akbar welcomed Spanish Socialist ruling party’s two Deputies ( members of parliament) , Ms.Merce perea and Ms. Monica Silvana, to Pakistan House, Madrid. Socialist Party candidate for Catalán Parliament, Hafiz Abdul Razzaq also accompanied the members. Issues of bilateral importance were discussed during the meeting. A comprehensive framework to enhance political, economic, social,cultural and educational interactions between the two nations were also discussed.

Ambassador of Pakistan H.E Khayyam Akbar had a very informative & constructive meeting on 28 June 2018 with Mr. Elias Bonilla, CEO of EDIBON S.A., a Spanish ccompany which offers one of the most advanced technology worldwide in the field of Engineering & Technical Teaching Equipments. Most of its Teaching Techniques and Equipment are "unique" and are EDIBON registered trademarks. EDIBON offers more than 3,000 different units in 14 technical educational areas. He also visited their existing facilities of 6000 square meters near Madrid. EDIBON would soon be shifting to its new premises of 30,000 square meters.
EDIBON is providing equipment to a number of Pakistani Engineering universities and technical training institutes since more than a decade, and intends to expand its business to Pakistan in a more diverse manner.

Superior Centre of National Defence (CESEDEN), Spain is a renowned military institution responsible to organize joint staff courses for majors and above and prepare them for staff and command at military strategic level. Today marked the culmination of the 1 year course with award of diplomas by his majesty, King Felipe VI of Spain. Major Imran Jaffar of Pakistan Army participated in the course. He was one of the few officers who received their Diplomas from the King. Ambassador of Pakistan His Excellency Khayyam Akbar was also present on the occasion.

Ambassador of Pakistan and his team held a meeting with Mr Angel Gil Guitierrez Lacaixa Bank’s Global Relationship Manager for Asia Pacific. Prospects for further expansion of Lacaixa Bank’s business in Pakistan were discussed. Proposal to gather Spanish companies doing or planning to do business in Pakistan from the Lacaixa Bank’s platform was also discussed.

Ambassador of Pakistan H.E Khayyam Akbar had a Meeting today (18 June 2018) with Mr. Antonio Montes, Director of Strategic Relations at the world-renowned IE Business School, Madrid ( now part of IE UNIVERSITY having 4 other schools: Law, Internationsl Relations, Human Sciences & Technology and Architecture & Design) and his team.
It was a fruitful and productive meeting aiming at deepening collaboration between Embassy and IE University further. IE Schools would like to have more students from Pakistan as well as closer linkages with Pakistani universities.
