H.E. Ambassador Nairimas Ole-Sein met with Prof. José E. Capilla Romá, Rector of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), and Prof. José F. Monserrat, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Communication. Discussions focused on strengthening partnerships between UPV and Kenyan universities through academic exchanges, research collaboration, and innovation initiatives. The Ambassador also engaged with Kenyan students at UPV, discussing their experiences, opportunities for academic and professional growth, and the important role they play in advancing Kenya–Spain relations.

H.E. Amb. Nairimas Ole Sein led Kenya’s delegation to the 126th Session of the UN Tourism Executive Council in Toledo, Spain. On behalf of the CS for Tourism and Wildlife, Amb. Ole-Sein reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to sustainable tourism in advancing the UN Tourism agenda. The Ambassador also participated in the Programme and Budget Committee meeting and the Steering Committee of the International Year of Sustainable and Resilient Tourism 2027, of which Kenya is a member.
