HAPPENING NOW: The Philippine Embassy in Spain led by DHM and Consul General Mark Francis C. Hamoy met with officials from Planho Consultares - Architect and Business Development together with PTIC-Madrid Commercial Counsellor Althea Karen P. Antonio today, 10 December 2025.

Joining the meeting are the Embassy's Cultural and Economic Diplomacy Assistant Ms. Janice Raposas and PTIC Consultant Javier Barcelon.

Join them for an afternoon of identity, memory, and the powerful feeling of home this Saturday, 13 December 2025, 12:00pm-1:30pm at CSC Casa del Cura, Plaza de Dos de Mayo 1, Madrid.

There will be three (3) featured short films:

1. BAHAY (Home)
A beautiful 2D Animated Short Story by Barcelona-born Pinay artist and animator Trixia J Chipongian.
2. PALINDROME
An intimate, disorienting, and heartbreaking exploration of reality written and directed by: Nats Sisma and starring: Rosa Irasusta Ventura
3. CASA DE BAMBÚ (Bamboo House)
Through archive footage and intimate conversations, the director reconstructs the journey of her mother, aunts (Emelita, Luz, Maria, and Arlene), and their settling in Barcelona and Hospitalet. The film explores the evolving relationship with the city that has become their home, which is written & directed by: Kim Hernandez and produced by: CCCB, DonesVisuals & Diputació Barcelona
