🎥 Canary Islands Advertising Film Forum Bridges Local and National Companies for New Collaborations
Over the course of four days, top advertising film production companies from both the Canary Islands and mainland Spain have gathered in Lanzarote to explore premier locations and engage in strategic networking. The event, held under the auspices of the Canary Islands Advertising Film Forum (FCPC), aims to open new avenues for collaboration and business development between local and national industry players.
This initiative, organised by the Canary Islands Government through Proexca, the Clúster Audiovisual de Canarias and Lanzarote Film Commission has attracted six leading national companies in the advertising film sector. Since Monday, these companies have been exploring Lanzarote and meeting with local industry representatives and service providers, in a concerted effort to build stronger ties within the industry.
The Forum, now firmly established under its FCPC brand, has become a key platform for expanding the Canary Islands' presence in the film industry, while also enhancing the islands’ reputation on both a national and international stage. By inviting advertising film companies to engage directly with the Canary Islands' industrial ecosystem, the Forum has proven to be a vital conduit for business growth. Previous editions of the Forum were held in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with Lanzarote hosting for the first time this year.
🎤Pablo Martín Carbajal, Chief Executive Officer of Proexca, praised the collaboration with the Canary Islands Audiovisual Cluster, noting that their joint efforts are fostering a thriving ecosystem for the audiovisual sector, with a particular emphasis on advertising.
In addition to the national participants, six Canary Islands companies that are members of the Cluster, along with several unaffiliated local firms, have joined this year's Forum to engage in business meetings with the visiting companies.
🫱🏼🫲🏼Throughout the four-day event, participants have been taken on a comprehensive fam trip around Lanzarote, providing them with an in-depth look at the island's unique offerings. The programme has been designed to maximise networking opportunities, allowing participants to exchange ideas, discuss potential projects, and explore opportunities for future collaborations.
A highlight of the event was a speed dating session held at the La Isla y El Mar hotel. During this session, participants engaged in quick, focused meetings, presenting their capabilities and exploring potential partnerships for upcoming projects in the Canary Islands.
