📢 BUENAS NOTICIAS PARA CÓMPETA

El Gobierno de España ha transferido 177.311,82 € a nuestro municipio para la reparación y reconstrucción de infraestructuras dañadas por las borrascas del pasado invierno.

Estas ayudas permitirán actuar sobre calles, carreteras, caminos, cauces, muros de contención, escolleras y otras infraestructuras públicas afectadas.

Desde el PSOE de Cómpeta queremos agradecer esta inversión, que demuestra el compromiso del Gobierno de España con nuestro pueblo y con los municipios que sufrieron los efectos de los temporales.

Ahora corresponde al Ayuntamiento aprovechar estos recursos de la mejor manera posible.

Muchos vecinos llevan años reclamando mejoras en caminos rurales, carreteras, cauces y puntos especialmente deteriorados o inseguros. Gracias a esta ayuda extraordinaria, el Ayuntamiento dispone ahora de más medios para afrontar parte de esas actuaciones.

Por ello, esperamos que estas inversiones lleguen a todos aquellos lugares que realmente las necesitan y que contribuyan a mejorar la seguridad, las comunicaciones y la calidad de vida de nuestros vecinos.

Porque cuando llegan recursos para Cómpeta, lo importante es que se transformen en obras, mejoras y soluciones para el pueblo.

Seguiremos atentos para que así sea.

🇬🇧 GOOD NEWS FOR CÓMPETA

The Government of Spain has allocated €177,311.82 to our municipality for the repair and reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by last winter's storms.

This funding can be used to repair streets, roads, rural tracks, water channels, retaining walls, embankments and other public infrastructure affected by the severe weather.

From PSOE Cómpeta, we would like to welcome this investment, which demonstrates the commitment of the Government of Spain to our village and to the municipalities affected by the storms.

It is now up to the Town Hall to make the best possible use of these resources.

For years, many residents have been calling for improvements to rural roads, public tracks, watercourses and other deteriorated or unsafe areas. Thanks to this extraordinary funding, the Town Hall now has additional resources available to address some of these long-standing issues.

We hope these funds will be invested where they are most needed and will help improve safety, communications and the quality of life of local residents.

Because when resources arrive in Cómpeta, what really matters is that they are turned into projects, improvements and real solutions for the village.

🇪🇸 CÓMPETA MERECE ESTAR MÁS LIMPIA

Muchos vecinos llevan tiempo observando cómo en distintas calles de nuestro pueblo aparecen malos olores, restos de orines y excrementos de perros, una situación que creemos que debe mejorar entre todos.

Es cierto que una parte importante del problema tiene que ver con la falta de civismo de algunos propietarios de mascotas. Pero también creemos que es necesario que el Ayuntamiento impulse más campañas de concienciación, refuerce la limpieza en las zonas afectadas y estudie medidas que ayuden a corregir esta situación.

No se trata de buscar culpables, sino de buscar soluciones.

Cómpeta es un pueblo precioso, del que nos sentimos orgullosos vecinos, comerciantes y hosteleros, y que recibe cada año a miles de visitantes. Por eso debemos cuidar entre todos su imagen, su limpieza y su calidad de vida.

Con más civismo, más concienciación y más limpieza, estamos convencidos de que este problema puede solucionarse.

Porque Cómpeta merece estar más limpia.

🇬🇧 CÓMPETA DESERVES TO BE CLEANER

Many residents have noticed for some time that bad smells, dog urine and dog mess are becoming increasingly common in different streets throughout the village. We believe this is a problem that should be addressed together.

It is true that an important part of the issue is caused by the lack of civic responsibility of some pet owners. However, we also believe that the Town Hall should promote more awareness campaigns, reinforce cleaning in affected areas and consider measures that help improve the situation.

This is not about looking for someone to blame. It is about finding solutions.

Cómpeta is a beautiful village that residents, businesses and local hospitality owners are proud of, and one that welcomes thousands of visitors every year. That is why we should all work together to protect its image, cleanliness and quality of life.

With more civic responsibility, greater awareness and better cleaning, we are convinced this problem can be solved.

Because Cómpeta deserves to be cleaner

The PSOE councillor of Cómpeta wishes to inform residents that the Facebook profile “Cómpeta Social” is neither a SAFE, neutral nor independent source of information.

Today, information regarding the roads and rural tracks of Cómpeta has been published which we consider inaccurate, biased and clearly politically oriented, while other opinions and information that do reflect the reality experienced by many residents are being censored.

Today, political information favourable to the governing group “Por Mi Pueblo” was allowed to be published, but our councillor Francisco Félix Moreno (PSOE) was not allowed to reply, clarify or provide additional information.

Them yes. Us no.

As we all know, there are nowadays thousands of profiles and platforms that present themselves as neutral spaces for information and debate, while in reality acting as political influence tools serving those in power.

For this reason, we simply ask residents to always verify the information they read and listen to all sides before drawing conclusions.

Especially when certain people or public representatives are directly prevented from publishing or responding.

Una vez más, “Cómpeta Social” vuelve a disfrazar de análisis neutral lo que en realidad es un mensaje claramente escorado hacia la derecha y alineado con el poder de turno.

Se habla mucho de impuestos y de “lo que pagan los autónomos”, pero se olvida decir toda la verdad.

Un residente que se hace autónomo en España paga una cuota y, a cambio, recibe muchísimo: sanidad pública para él y sus familiares dependientes, derecho a pensión futura en España, cobertura por enfermedad o accidente, bajas laborales y protección social.

¿De verdad es caro pagar unos 300 euros al mes por todo eso?

Además, gracias al actual Gobierno de España los autónomos han conseguido cuotas reducidas para nuevos trabajadores por cuenta propia y más derechos sociales. Y el salario mínimo prácticamente se ha duplicado en los últimos años, mejorando la vida de miles de trabajadores y familias.

Gracias a los impuestos existen hospitales públicos, colegios, guarderías, becas, carreteras, policía, bomberos y ayudas sociales que utilizan tanto españoles como miles de residentes extranjeros que viven en nuestro pueblo.

Y conviene recordar algo importante: la sanidad pública andaluza, las listas de espera, la atención primaria o la educación pública son competencias de la Junta de Andalucía gobernada por el Partido Popular, no del Gobierno central.

Pero hay algo aún más preocupante que “Cómpeta Social” tampoco cuenta.

La nueva realidad política en Andalucía es que el Partido Popular necesitará el apoyo de VOX para gobernar. Y VOX exige la llamada “Prioridad Nacional”.

¿Saben lo que significa eso? Significa poner a unas personas por delante de otras por su nacionalidad. Significa que muchos extranjeros residentes, aunque trabajen, coticen y paguen impuestos en España, podrían quedar relegados frente a otros ciudadanos en ayudas o recursos públicos.

¿Es esa la Andalucía abierta, moderna y acogedora que queremos para Cómpeta?

Porque muchos extranjeros eligieron Andalucía precisamente por ser una tierra integradora, segura y con servicios públicos universales.

Y quien no crea en el sistema público siempre tiene la libertad de contratar un seguro privado. Pero despreciar constantemente lo público mientras se disfruta de sus ventajas resulta, como mínimo, contradictorio.

“Cómpeta Social” lleva años actuando con evidente complacencia hacia el poder municipal y autonómico mientras aparenta simple información objetiva.

Cómpeta merece pluralidad, rigor y honestidad. No propaganda ideológica disfrazada de análisis neutral.

Once again, “Cómpeta Social” is presenting what is clearly a right-leaning political message as if it were neutral analysis aligned with those currently in power.

There is a lot of talk about taxes and “how much self-employed workers pay”, but the full reality is conveniently ignored.

A resident who registers as self-employed in Spain pays a monthly contribution and, in return, receives a great deal: public healthcare for themselves and their dependent family members, the right to a future Spanish pension, protection in case of illness or accidents, sick leave coverage and social security protection.

Is paying around €300 per month really expensive for all of that?

In addition, thanks to the current Spanish Government, self-employed workers have gained reduced starter contributions for new autónomos and stronger social protections. The minimum wage in Spain has also almost doubled in recent years, improving the lives of thousands of workers and families.

Taxes are what pay for public hospitals, schools, nurseries, scholarships, roads, police, firefighters and social services used by both Spanish citizens and thousands of foreign residents living in villages like Cómpeta.

And it is important to remember something else: public healthcare in Andalusia, waiting lists, primary care and public education are the responsibility of the Andalusian regional government, currently governed by the Partido Popular — not the national government in Madrid.

But there is something even more concerning that “Cómpeta Social” also fails to mention.

The new political reality in Andalusia is that the Partido Popular will likely need the support of VOX to govern. And one of VOX’s key demands is what they call “National Priority”.

Do people understand what that means for foreign residents?

It means putting some people ahead of others based on nationality. It means that foreign residents — even those who work, pay taxes and contribute to society — could end up being treated as second-class when it comes to access to public support or resources.

Is that really the kind of open, modern and welcoming Andalusia we want for Cómpeta?

Many foreign residents chose Andalusia precisely because it has traditionally been an inclusive and welcoming place with strong public services and equal rights.

And anyone who dislikes the public system is, of course, free to pay for private healthcare and private services. But constantly criticising public services while benefiting from them is, at the very least, contradictory.

“Cómpeta Social” has spent years showing clear sympathy towards the municipal and regional authorities while pretending to offer neutral information.

Cómpeta deserves pluralism, honesty and balanced information — not ideological propaganda disguised as objective analysis.
