Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todas las personas e instituciones que han hecho posible esta magnífica jornada.

Nuestro reconocimiento a Ignacio López y Scott Marshall, concejales del Ayuntamiento de Benahavís; a Lisandro Vieytes, delegado de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Marbella; y a Juan José Almagro, coordinador del Área de Deportes de San Pedro Alcántara, por su apoyo y compromiso con el deporte inclusivo.

Agradecemos también a José González, representante de la Federación Andaluza de Fútbol en Málaga, y a Óscar Escobar, responsable de la Liga Inclusiva de Málaga, por su labor fundamental en el desarrollo y crecimiento de esta competición.

Del mismo modo, queremos destacar la colaboración de Antonio Ruiz, presidente del Recreativo San Pedro-Benahavís; Román González, del Área de Deportes de Benahavís; y Antonio Luis Mancilla, jefe de Servicios Operativos del Ayuntamiento de Benahavís, cuyo trabajo y dedicación han sido esenciales para el éxito de esta jornada.

Gracias por vuestro compromiso, dedicación y trabajo incansable para que este evento siga creciendo año tras año.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the individuals and organisations who have made this wonderful event possible.

¡Enhorabuena, María Purroy Galán!
Desde el Ayuntamiento de Benahavís queremos felicitar a nuestra vecina María Purroy Galán, de 19 años, por haber sido seleccionada para disputar el Campeonato de España de Federaciones Autonómicas Absoluto Femenino 2026, representando a la Federación Andaluza de Golf.

La competición se celebrará del 14 al 18 de junio en el prestigioso complejo Infinitum Golf Lakes (Tarragona), donde María formará parte del equipo andaluz junto a otras cinco jugadoras, defendiendo los colores de Andalucía frente a las mejores golfistas del país.

Este importante logro es fruto de su esfuerzo, constancia y dedicación, y supone un gran orgullo para Benahavís, un municipio estrechamente vinculado al golf y al deporte de alto nivel.

Le deseamos mucha suerte en este campeonato y estamos seguros de que representará a Benahavís y a Andalucía con el talento y la pasión que la caracterizan.

Congratulations, María Purroy Galán!

Benahavís Town Hall would like to congratulate our local resident, María Purroy Galán, aged 19, on being selected to compete in the 2026 Spanish Women's Senior Autonomous Federations Championship, representing the Andalusian Golf Federation.

The competition will take place from 14 to 18 June at the prestigious Infinitum Golf Lakes resort in Tarragona, where María will be part of the Andalusian team alongside five other players, proudly representing Andalusia against the country's top female golfers.

This important achievement is the result of her hard work, perseverance and dedication, and is a source of great pride for Benahavís, a municipality with a strong connection to golf and high-performance sport.

We wish her every success in the championship and are confident that she will represent both Benahavís and Andalusia with the talent and passion that define her.

Festival Gas & Dust 2026 llega a Benahavís para dos días de motor, música y cultura custom

Benahavís se prepara para vivir un fin de semana único con la llegada del Festival Gas & Dust 2026, una cita imprescindible para los amantes de la cultura custom, las motos y la música en directo.

El Parque Torre de la Leonera acogerá los próximos 29 y 30 de mayo la tercera edición de este festival independiente que reunirá a constructores de motos, artistas, marcas especializadas, exposiciones, conciertos, foodtrucks y actividades para todos los públicos.

Durante el fin de semana habrá música en directo, concursos, exposiciones fotográficas, motos de colección y una amplia zona comercial con stands dedicados al universo custom. Entre los invitados destacados estarán Neil Zarama, fundador de Arrow Choppers, y el artista Manolo Osiyuyu.

Además, el Ayuntamiento de Benahavís informa de que los vecinos empadronados podrán recoger gratuitamente su entrada en el Ayuntamiento durante el día de mañana, hasta agotar existencias.

Festival Gas & Dust 2026 comes to Benahavís for two days of engines, music and custom culture

Benahavís is getting ready for a unique weekend with the arrival of Festival Gas & Dust 2026, a must-attend event for lovers of custom culture, motorcycles and live music.

Parque Torre de la Leonera will host the third edition of this independent festival on 29 and 30 May, bringing together motorcycle builders, artists, specialist brands, exhibitions, concerts, food trucks and activities for all ages.

Throughout the weekend there will be live music, competitions, photographic exhibitions, classic motorcycles and a large commercial area with stands dedicated to the custom world. Featured guests will include Neil Zarama, founder of Arrow Choppers, and artist Manolo Osiyuyu.

In addition, Ayuntamiento de Benahavís has announced that registered local residents will be able to collect their free tickets from the Town Hall tomorrow, while stocks last.
