A video I saw on social media the other day was very disturbing. About twenty people boarded an IndiGo flight, and one of them served everyone their own food on a plate and they all ate together. The incident was celebrated on social media as if something big had been accomplished.

How disgusting it is to behave like this, destroying the peace and comfort of others, even on a flight of only two or three hours. An airplane is not a place where we travel alone. Just think of the smell of food for other passengers and the discomfort in a closed plane..!!

There may be people among the passengers with various allergies. Once, while traveling on a flight, an announcement came. No one is allowed to eat nuts on this plane. If you have them in your hand, do not even try to open the packet. One of the fellow passengers has a nut allergy.

Is reach and viral content our only goal?

Social awareness is not something that should be shown only at home. Each of us needs to at least recognize for ourselves how to behave respectfully in public places..
