🇧🇦 Stakeholders from across the Una-Sana Canton came together in Bihać for 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 '𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀', organised by our partner Razvojna agencija Unsko-sanskog kantona within the Mobility project.

⚡ The event focused on electromobility, rural connectivity and sustainable transport solutions, bringing together public authorities, educational institutions, businesses and other key actors.

📍 One of the highlights was the presentation of the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗮-𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻, developed within RuralMED Mobility to support the future deployment of sustainable mobility solutions in the region.

🇧🇬⚡ The Mobility pilot in Bulgaria is now operational!

New EV charging stations have been installed in Radnevo and Galabovo by our partner Агенция за регионално икономическо развитие Стара Загора together with the local municipalities, helping to make electric mobility more accessible in rural areas 🚗🔋

The pilot supports cleaner transport, better connectivity and new sustainable mobility opportunities for local communities across the region.

🇵🇹 Our partners AREANATejo and Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo organised in Portalegre an 'Open Day' within the Mobility project with 400 participants 🙌

School students, families and local stakeholders took part in activities promoting sustainable mobility and active lifestyles, including electric bike experiences, go-kart rides, recycling workshops and educational games 🚲⚡🌱

🔝 The event highlighted the importance of learning through practical experiences to bring sustainable mobility closer to local communities 💪

🌍 Sustainable mobility in rural areas was at the centre of the discussion during the event “Mobility in Rural Areas” organised by our Slovenian partner Regionalna razvojna agencija Gorenjske - BSC Kranj 🇸🇮

The Mobility project was presented together with examples of demand-responsive transport, electric mobility solutions and charging infrastructure for rural territories.

👏 Thanks to the Slovenian team for continuing to promote sustainable and inclusive mobility solutions across the Mediterranean!

🇮🇹 This time, our partners from Consorzio Oltrepò Mantovano organised a training session for municipal technical staff focused on electric mobility, sustainable mobility planning and MaaS solutions for rural territories 🌍

Ieri 15 maggio il Consorzio Oltrepò Mantovano ha partecipato al 𝟐° 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨-𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 a Roma, portando l'esperienza di due progetti europei a cui il nostro territorio sta lavorando:

🔹 Rural-MED Mobility — Un'iniziativa che affronta la sfida della mobilità nelle aree rurali dell'area mediterranea, promuovendo soluzioni intermodali, inclusive e a basso impatto ambientale. L'obiettivo: garantire accessibilità e connettività alle comunità più fragili.

🔹 Urban Green Leap Project — Un progetto focalizzato sull'integrazione di infrastrutture verdi negli ecosistemi urbani euro-mediterranei, con un approccio basato su dati, co-progettazione con le comunità locali e soluzioni replicabili.

Il Forum è stato un'occasione concreta per confrontarsi con stakeholder istituzionali, enti locali e partner internazionali su sfide comuni: decarbonizzazione, coesione territoriale e transizione verde nel bacino del Mediterraneo.

Continuiamo a costruire ponti — tra politiche e pratiche, tra nord e sud del Mediterraneo.

🇵🇹 The Mobility project was presented at the 9th National Meeting of Transport Authorities in Portalegre, through our partner Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo.

The event gathered transport authorities, policymakers and mobility experts to discuss sustainable mobility, decarbonisation and innovative transport solutions for low-density rural areas 🌍⚡
