تعزيز التعاون المصري الرواندي في مجال تخزين الحبوب والأمن الغذائي
قام السفير / دان مونيوزا، سفير جمهورية رواندا يوم الأجد الموافق 23/8/2026 بزيارة الشركة المصرية القابضة للصوامع والتخزين، حيث كان في استقباله الدكتور/ أشرف صادق غازي، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي للشركة، والسيد المهندس/ سامح محمد مختار هلالي، العضو المنتدب لشؤون الصوامع، وبحضور الدكتورة/ دعاء نبيل، مساعد وزير التموين والتجارة الداخلية للعلاقات الدولية والاتفاقيات.
وخلال الزيارة، قام السفير بجولة تفقدية داخل منشآت الشركة الحديثة لتخزين الحبوب، واطلع على التجربة المصرية في إدارة المخزون الاستراتيجي من الحبوب وتطبيق أحدث نظم وتقنيات التخزين، بما يسهم في الحفاظ على جودة الأقماح وتقليل الفاقد بعد الحصاد.
ومن جانبه، أكد الدكتور/ أشرف صادق غازي، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي للشركة، أن الشركة المصرية القابضة للصوامع والتخزين تمثل إحدى الركائز الرئيسية لمنظومة الأمن الغذائي في مصر، مشيرًا إلى حرص الشركة على نقل خبراتها وتبادل تجاربها الناجحة مع الأشقاء في القارة الأفريقية.
وأضاف أن التعاون مع الجانب الرواندي يمثل فرصة مهمة لتبادل الخبرات والتجارب في مجالات إنشاء وإدارة الصوامع الحديثة، وتطوير نظم تخزين الحبوب، ورفع كفاءة العاملين، بما يسهم في تقليل الفاقد والحفاظ على جودة المخزون الاستراتيجي وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي.
وأكد الدكتور أشرف صادق غازي أن الشركة ترحب بتعزيز أطر التعاون الفني والمؤسسي مع رواندا، وتقديم الدعم والخبرات الفنية في حدود الإمكانات المتاحة، انطلاقًا من إيمان مصر بأهمية التكامل والتعاون الأفريقي وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة والأمن الغذائي لشعوب القارة.
وأشاد السفير دان مونيوزا بالجهود المصرية الرائدة في تعزيز الأمن الغذائي من خلال تطوير منظومة متكاملة للمخزون الاستراتيجي من الحبوب، وإنشاء وتشغيل صوامع حديثة وفق أحدث المعايير والتقنيات.
كما تناولت المباحثات فرص تعميق التعاون بين مصر ورواندا في مجالات تخزين الحبوب وإدارة الاحتياطيات الغذائية الاستراتيجية، مع التركيز على بناء القدرات، وتبادل الخبرات الفنية، ونقل المعرفة والتجارب الناجحة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة تأكيدًا على عمق العلاقات المصرية الرواندية، وحرص البلدين على تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات في مجال الأمن الغذائي وتكنولوجيا تخزين الحبوب، بما يدعم جهود التنمية المستدامة ويعزز قدرات الدول الأفريقية على مواجهة تحديات الأمن الغذائي.
Strengthening Egyptian-Rwandan Cooperation in Grain Storage and Food Security
H.E. Ambassador Dan Munyuza, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda, visited the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage (EHCSS) on Sunday, August 23, 2026. He was received by Dr. Ashraf Sadek Ghazy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Eng. Sameh Mohamed Mokhtar Helaly, Managing Director for Silos Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Doaa Nabil, Assistant Minister of Supply and Internal Trade for International Relations and Agreements.
During the visit, the Ambassador toured the Company’s modern grain storage facilities and was briefed on Egypt’s experience in managing strategic grain reserves and implementing the latest storage systems and technologies, which contribute to maintaining wheat quality and reducing post-harvest losses.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sadek Ghazy, Managing Director and CEO of EHCSS, emphasized that the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage represents one of the key pillars of Egypt’s food security system. He highlighted the Company’s commitment to sharing its expertise and successful experiences with its African counterparts.
He added that cooperation with the Rwandan side represents an important opportunity to exchange expertise and experiences in the fields of establishing and managing modern silos, developing grain storage systems, and enhancing workforce capabilities, thereby contributing to reducing losses, preserving the quality of strategic grain reserves, and strengthening food security.
Dr. Ashraf Sadek Ghazy further affirmed that the Company welcomes the strengthening of technical and institutional cooperation with Rwanda and stands ready to provide technical support and expertise within its available capabilities, driven by Egypt’s firm belief in the importance of African integration and cooperation, as well as the exchange of knowledge and expertise, in support of sustainable development and food security for the peoples of the continent.
Ambassador Dan Munyuza commended Egypt’s leading efforts to strengthen food security through the development of an integrated system for strategic grain reserves and the establishment and operation of modern silos in accordance with the latest international standards and technologies.
The discussions also addressed opportunities to deepen Egypt-Rwanda cooperation in grain storage and strategic food reserves, with a focus on capacity building, technical exchanges, knowledge transfer, and the sharing of successful experiences.
The visit reaffirms the depth of Egyptian-Rwandan relations and the two countries’ commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in food security and grain storage technologies, supporting sustainable development efforts and enhancing the capacity of African countries to address food security challenges.
