Giza Foundation is an NGO aiming to serve Egyptian society as a special kind of social incubator/Accelerator in Cairo, Suhag, and Fayoum.

It develops concepts for potential social Impact Startup and nurtures them from concept (initiation) to scalability. Giza Foundation (GF) was founded in 2013 as the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Giza Systems (GS), and registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity as a functional non-profit, non-governmental organization seeking to combat ignorance and poverty in the most marginalized

areas in Egypt using technology and technical expertise. GF aims to support three main communities which are:

1 ) Underprivileged Children
2 ) Marginalized Women
3 ) People with Disabilities

We recognize that advancements in technology continue to cause ripple changes and disruptions in many industries. We also believe that technology will continue to be an integral part of the daily lives of future generations. Therefore, we use technology and its potential to address societal concerns to reduce the digital divide and facilitate the development of our communities. GF also follows United Nation's Social Developmental Goals #4, #10, #12, and #17. Also, GF is a special type of social incubator that is located in Cairo, Suhag, and Fayoum. It develops concepts for potential social projects and nurtures them from concept (initiation) to scalability. That is what makes it special. It may seek third-party funding for these implementations. This time, we meet Alaa Yasser, an inspiring 11-year-old student at our community school hub in Sohag.

With pure excitement, Alaa shared how the "hub" transformed her world—from a child who didn't know how to open a digital photo to a young programmer using Scratch to design her own games and explore AI concepts. هدى حكت لنا إزاي فكرة "مدرسة الفصل الواحد" كانت تحدي، وإزاي برنامج DTSCH Dell Technologies Solar Community Hubs ساعدها تتغلب على خوفها من التكنولوجيا وتنقله لطلابها. النهاردة، الأطفال مش بس بيتعلموا كمبيوتر، دول بقوا بيتقنوا البرمجة والـ Scratch وكمان بيعلموا بعض، وده الهدف الحقيقي من شراكتنا مع Dell Technologies ومؤسسة مصر الخير و Computer Aid؛ إننا نفتح أبواب المستقبل للأطفال في سوهاج والفيوم.

This time, we meet Hoda Mohamed Ali, a facilitator at one of our community school hubs in Sohag.

Hoda shared how the "One-Classroom School" model was a unique challenge and how the DTSCH (Dell Technologies Solar Community Hubs) program helped her overcome her own tech anxiety to empower her students. Today, these children aren’t just learning basics; they are mastering programming and Scratch, and even peer-teaching. This is the core of our partnership with Dell Technologies, Misr El Kheir Foundation (MEK), and Computer Aid—providing digital inclusion and brighter futures for children across Sohag and Fayoum.

As part of our post-program support at Giza Systems Foundation, our startup community joined an intensive Financial Modeling Workshop led by Abdelrahman soliman , covering everything from unit economics and financial foundations to valuation methods, investor readiness, and building solid 5-year financial models.

Through hands-on mentorship and practical guidance, participating startups are leaving with:

• A validated 5-year financial model with multiple growth scenarios
• A valuation range report tailored to their venture
• A personalized action plan for fundraising and investor outreach

This time, we meet 𝗭𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯, a student at one of our targeted community school hubs in Sohag.
Her school, which was once far from home, was also far removed from technology and computers.

We're looking for a 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 to lead the documentation of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀—a multi-year initiative empowering persons with disabilities through technology, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem building.
This is not just a reporting role.
It’s about capturing a full journey—how a project evolved, scaled, and shaped an entire ecosystem.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

The consultant should demonstrate:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in documentation, research, or knowledge management
• Proven track record in developing high-quality reports, case studies, and analytical documentation
• Experience working on donor-funded development programs
• Strong understanding of entrepreneurship ecosystems and social impact, preferably with a focus on Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
• Demonstrated experience in case study development and strategic reporting
• Knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent writing, analytical, and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and donor-ready outputs
In addition:
• The consultant must be legally able to operate and contract within the Arab Republic of Egypt, in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations
• Financial proposals must be submitted in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and should be inclusive of all applicable taxes and legal obligations
