Book Review 🛎️
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
This book delves into January Andrews moving into her late father’s lake house (not willingly) and writing a book from scratch to submit before September. That is beside her neighbor, Gus, who’s an old frenemy of hers from college.
I went in with low expectations because I’ve heard it’s not people’s favorite and I kind of get why. It is still a good, decent read tho. It discusses love, grief, and life changing events.
Don’t ask me how but weirdly this book felt more like an autumn read 😂 it rained a lot, I felt the days were gloomy PLUS they were each writing books, giving HUGE cozy vibes 🍂🧡
Also I discovered this is Emily Henry’s adult debut novel so she only got better from there, good for her. Would I recommend this? Yes, it’s still a really cute fun read, I just liked her other books more :)
