Yesterday, the University Library was honoured to welcome a distinguished delegation from 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, led by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱, President and Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff Metropolitan University, during their recent visit to The British University in Egypt.

The visit took place in the presence of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗶 𝗠𝗕𝗘, President and Vice-Chancellor of The British University in Egypt, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗱, the Provost, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for the Student Journey, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗺𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗱𝗮, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Alumni and Career Centre.

We were delighted to host our esteemed guests and look forward to continued collaboration and knowledge exchange between our universities.

Yesterday, the University Library was pleased to welcome 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗿 from Ludovika University of Public Service, Budapest, during her recent visit to The British University in Egypt.

Professor Feher was accompanied by faculty members from the Faculty of Communication and Mass Media (FCMM), led by 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿, Film and Media Studies Coordinator.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the Library's facilities, resources, and services, while fostering academic exchange and strengthening international collaboration between institutions.

We were delighted to host our distinguished guests and look forward to future opportunities for cooperation and knowledge sharing.

The workshop is intended for Egyptian academic researchers and will be delivered in Arabic by:

𝗠𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱, Database & Information Resources Specialist, Digital Library Unit – Supreme Council of Universities

The workshop aims to:
Explaining the rules and regulations of the 15th Term (2025–2028) of the Egyptian Scientific Committees, approved on August 30, 2025 by the Egyptian Supreme Council that govern the promotion, evaluation, and scientific output of faculty members applying for professor and associate professor positions.

Following the successful visit of the NIS First Settlement Campus students, our Library was delighted to welcome another group of Grade 11 (IBDP1) students; this time from 𝗗𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 (𝗡𝗜𝗦 - 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗸 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀) yesterday, May 19th. 📚✨

As an extension of the ongoing collaboration between the University Library and the Student Recruitment & Partnerships (SRP) Department, students participated in an engaging AI Literacy session that further supported their understanding of the ethical use of AI tools in academic writing, research, citation, and referencing.

The visit also included a guided Library tour led by Dr Elham Abied, Manager for Library Academic Services, along with an insightful introduction to university life and academic opportunities.

We were pleased to continue this enriching experience with such bright and ambitious students, and we look forward to more inspiring collaborations ahead!🌟

تتقدم مكتبة الجامعة البريطانية في مصر بخالص الشكر والتقدير للكاتبة والمؤلفة المصرية سمر طاهر، على إهدائها الكريم بخمس روايات من مؤلفاتها لإثراء مقتنيات المكتبة ودعم الثقافة والقراءة بين طلابنا.

We are truly delighted to celebrate this wonderful collaboration between the Library of the British University in Egypt and Department of English Language and Literature at BUE on the special issue of Inkwell Magazine. ✨

This collaboration celebrates our talented students and the winners of the “Unleash Your Story” - Short Story Competition held on 8 April, whose remarkable creativity and literary voices are proudly featured in this special issue.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this meaningful initiative and look forward to more fruitful collaborations that continue to support creativity, storytelling, and student talent across our University community. 📚

The Department of English Language and Literature is proud to announce the publication of a special issue of Inkwell Magazine, created in collaboration with the Library of The British University in Egypt.

Dedicated to the winners of the “Unleash Your Story” Competition, this special issue marks the first collaboration between Inkwell and the BUE Library — a partnership we celebrate with great pride.
