Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior/Lead Oracle DBA located in Dubai. As a Senior/Lead Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for handling the complex database management system of the organization including installing, configuring, and upgrading the Oracle server software and related products. You will apply patches and perform database maintenance tasks and monitor the system's performance and develop complex SQL queries for custom reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with an expertise in database design, installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management
Experience in managing large-scale mission-critical Oracle databases
Proficiency in Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle ASM, Oracle RMAN, and Oracle Grid Infrastructure
Good knowledge of various operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively lead and mentor team members
