All the topics were discussed during today's meeting between 🇨🇿 Ambassador Ivan Jukl and 🇪🇬 Minister of Education and Scientific Research H.E. Abdel Aziz Konsowa.
The meeting also covered scholarships 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 Horizon Europe programme 🌅🌍 international branches campuses 🏫🎓 and research centers ⚗️🔬

Today, our Embassy had the great pleasure of hosting the 2nd Academic Gathering of Egyptian Bohemists organized by Veronika Resslová, lecturer of Czech language posted in Egypt by Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy. Professors, researchers, and students gathered to discuss variety of topics ranging from Czech literature and translation to linguistics and didactics. 📚🇨🇿

We highly value the dedication of this active academic community in promoting the Czech language and culture in Egypt. 🇪🇬 We would like to thank all the speakers from Katedra českého jazyka, Fakulta Al-Alsun قسم اللغة التشيكية بكلية الألسن, Ústav pro českou literaturu AV ČR and Katedra Blízkého východu Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy for sharing their expertise and helping to keep the academic dialogue between our nations alive. 👩🏽‍🎓📑

Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), Czechia has launched the ČVUT Starting Grant – a program for excellent early-career researchers (up to 8 years after PhD) with strong international experience who wish to establish their own independent research group.

The program offers 🔴
- annual funding of up to CZK 4,000,000 (approx. EUR 160,000) for up to three years
- institutional backing and a tenure-track perspective
- a strong focus on research leadership development
- a one-time relocation package of up to CZK 250,000 (approx. EUR 10,000)
