The Embassy of Lithuania gladly joined 15 other countries in marking the European Day of Languages! 🇪🇺 🇱🇹
Throughout the day, students had the chance to explore the Lithuanian language — from short lessons to creative activities at our booth, including a poetry corner and a fun quiz. 📚
It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate linguistic diversity, share Lithuania’s culture, and connect with so many curious and enthusiastic participants. 💛💚❤️

Lithuania to roll out digital euro currency by 2027.

As the European Central Bank prepares to be ready by 2030, Lithuania is among the first in Europe to take action.
The digital euro will reduce dependence on international payment schemes and offer reliable transactions even offline or during disruptions.
Once adopted across the eurozone, the digital euro will support a more integrated, competitive and resilient European economy.
