شارع الصليبة:
تميز العصر الفاطمي بالطابع الإسلامي فنجد كل حكام هذه الحقبة حريصيين علي تشييد مساجد تخلد ذكراهم و لتعليم أصول الفقه و االحديث من خلال إلحاق كتاب لكل مسجد، فالمساجد الفاطمية لم تكن مجرد ساحة لإقامة الصلوات الخمس بل كانت هي صرحًا علميًا كبيرًا لتدريس أصول الدين الأربعة.
شارع الصليبة هو أحد أقدم الشوارع في حي السيدة زينب، وعُرف الشارع لتاريخه العظيم حيث يضم العديد من الأماكن الأثرية كالمساجد و المتاحف و السُبل.
Al-Saliba Street:
To live through a memory. The Fatimid era was known for its distinctive feature of following the Islamic structure. Rulers, at that time, built mosques bearing their names. Those mosques were not meant merely for prayer, but were used as a way to spread the teachings of Islam, and its Fiqh and Hadith, through Kuttab (school) that was usually attached to the mosque’s grounds.
Al-Saliba street is one of the oldest main streets in Al-Sayeda Zainab district. The street is known for its rich history, as it is the site of many old buildings, including mosques, museums, and sabils.
