Father’s Day used to be our favorite day.
We’d wake up early, make pancakes, and spend the whole afternoon fishing.
Now, I kneel by your grave, holding flowers instead of your hand.
It’s been five years, Dad, but it still hurts like yesterday.
I miss your laugh, your advice, the way you believed in me even when I didn’t.
No card or gift could ever match what I really want—to talk to you one more time.
Happy Father’s Day in heaven.
Thank you for teaching me how to be strong, even when I feel broken.
I carry your love every day.
