تحت إشراف السيد المدير العام للغابات و تزامنًا مع الانطلاق الرسمي للحملة الوطنية لمكافحة حرائق الغابات، المصادف للفاتح من شهر ماي 2026، وفي إطار تنفيذ استراتيجية الدولة الرامية إلى رقمنة القطاع وتعزيز قدراته في مواجهة التحديات البيئية، تم اليوم الانطلاق الرسمي للمنصة الوطنية لمتابعة حرائق الغابات.
وتهدف هذه المنصة، التي لا تزال قيد التحديث، إلى تطوير نظام متابعة حرائق الغابات، من خلال إدماج حلول رقمية متطورة وفعالة وتحسين آليات الرصد المبكر، وتسهيل التنسيق بين مختلف المتدخلين، وضمان سرعة التدخل واتخاذ القرار في الوقت المناسب، بما يساهم في الحد من انتشار الحرائق و حماية الأرواح و الممتلكات.
وتتيح هذه المنصة المعلوماتية تتبع الحرائق بشكل آني، مع إمكانية إدخال المعطيات الميدانية، واستغلالها في إعداد تقارير دقيقة تدعم عمليات التقييم واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
كما تشمل هذه العملية تحديث البنية التحتية التقنية، وتعزيز وسائل الاتصال، إلى جانب إدماج نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (SIG) وتقنيات الاستشعار عن بعد، مما يوفر رؤية شاملة ودقيقة لمجال الغابات.
وتؤكد المديرية العامة للغابات مرة أخرى التزامها بمواصلة هذا المسار التنموي، من خلال الانفتاح على المقترحات البناءة وتعزيز التعاون مع مختلف الشركاء، بهدف حماية الثروة الغابية الوطنية وضمان استدامتها للأجيال القادمة.
وفي الأخير، أسدى المدير العام للغابات تعليمات بالرفع من مستوى التأهب والحيطة، مع التأكيد على ضرورة التجند الدائم لكافة المصالح المعنية، وتعزيز الجاهزية الميدانية عبر التكفل الأمثل بوسائل التدخل وتعبئة الموارد البشرية والمادية. كما شدد على أهمية التنسيق المحكم بين مختلف الهيئات المتدخلة، وتكثيف عمليات التحسيس لفائدة المواطنين، بما يساهم في الوقاية من حرائق الغابات والحد من مخاطرها، خاصة خلال فترات ارتفاع درجات الحرارة.
Under the supervision of the Director General of Forests, and in conjunction with the official launch of the National Forest Fire Fighting Campaign on May 1st, 2026, and as part of the implementation of the State’s strategy aimed at digitizing the sector and strengthening its capacity to address environmental challenges, the official launch of the National Forest Fire Monitoring Platform took place today.
This platform, which is still under development, aims to modernize the forest fire monitoring system by integrating advanced and effective digital solutions, improving detection mechanisms, facilitating coordination among all stakeholders, and ensuring rapid intervention and timely decision-making, thereby helping to limit the spread of fires and protect lives and property.
The platform enables real-time monitoring of forest fires, with the possibility of inputting field data and utilizing it to generate accurate reports that support assessment processes.
This initiative also includes the upgrading of digital infrastructure, strengthening communication systems, and integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies, thus providing a comprehensive and accurate overview of forest areas.
The General Directorate of Forests reaffirms its commitment to continuing this development path by remaining open to constructive proposals and strengthening cooperation with various partners, with the aim of protecting national forest resources and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
Finally, the Director General of Forests issued instructions to raise the level of vigilance and caution, emphasizing the need for constant mobilization of all concerned services, enhancing field readiness through optimal management of intervention resources, and the mobilization of human and material means. He also stressed the importance of effective coordination between all involved stakeholders and intensifying awareness campaigns for citizens, contributing to the prevention of forest fires and the reduction of their risks, especially during periods of high temperatures.
