The American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) is the Defense Department agency that provides radio and television services to the U.S. They work with the entertainment industry and bring you services ranging from “The Simpsons” to National Public Radio and all points in between. The latest music, news and information services are sent to AFN Europe and are available on a number of AM and FM stations broadcasting throughout the U.S. European Command, on-base cable systems, and via satellite decoders.

Ready when called 🦅

Over the past week, Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 159th Attack Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, put their skills to the test during Operation Gunslinger Gambit at the Grafenwoehr Training Area.

From chemical decontamination operations to multi-aircraft launches, the battalion executed realistic training scenarios aimed at maintaining readiness, refining mission-essential tasks, and reinforcing regional deterrence.

A new chapter begin for the 2d Cavalry Regiment.

On Friday, the Regiment honored the leadership and service of the 83rd Colonel of the Regiment, Col. Donald R. Neal, Jr., as he relinquished command of the . His tenure strengthened the formation, advanced readiness, and upheld the legacy carried forward by generations of Dragoons.

The Regiment then proudly welcomed the 84th Colonel of the Regiment, Col. Timothy A. Price, as he assumed command and prepared to lead the formation into its next chapter.

Forged through generations of readiness, discipline, and tradition, the Regiment stands poised to push forward under his leadership, continuing the mission, strengthening the formation, and honoring the legacy carried by those who came before.
