The shelter in place is lifted. The spill was contained with chemical absorbent. All firefighters have completed decontamination procedures and the Boeblingen Fire Department is departing. The Garrison's Fire and Emergency Services personnel will remain on site to work with DPW Environmental on disposal.

HAPPENING NOW!

A chemical leak has been reported at Bldg. 3165 in the Panzer Housing Area.

Residents and others nearby should shelter in place. All others should avoid the area.

Children assigned to the School-Aged Child Center are currently at Bldg. 2915 on Panzer Kaserne.

Status: The Boeblingen Fire Department is currently on the scene and is the lead agency.

Immediate Actions Required:
🛑 If you are IN the area: SHELTER IN PLACE immediately. Go indoors, close all windows and doors, and await further instructions from emergency personnel on the ground.
⛔ If you are NOT in the area: AVOID THE AREA completely. Please keep the roadways clear to allow emergency responders and fire department vehicles full access.

🚧 Patch Barracks Gate Enhancement Update 🚧
Enhancements to the Main Gate at Patch Barracks begin in mid-June and will continue through August. Community members can expect changes to traffic flow, pedestrian access, and visitor processing.

Some key things to know:
🔹 The inbound lanes at the main gate will be CLOSED during the construction. An alternate gate will be open 24/7.

🔹 The K&K Gate will:
- Have two inbound lanes from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M-F
- Two outbound lanes from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. M-F
- Handle visitor pass processing during business hours

🔹 The temporary Swabian Gate will have:
- 4 inbound lanes
- 1 outbound lane
-Pedestrian access (updated!)
