Our battalion had the privilege of participating in an “Open Gates” event in Lunéville, France, strengthening our bonds with international partners and the wonderful local community. This marks just the beginning of a series of interoperability exercises and events with our allies across Europe.

Our Soldiers had an incredible opportunity to train alongside the 554th Military Police Battalion, September 15 to 19, 2025.

During this essential training, they honed their skills in proper driving techniques and safety protocols while operating top-tier vehicles like the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle, and the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle.

This hands-on experience not only enhances their individual capabilities but also significantly boosts our overall readiness for operational missions. With every drill and practice session, we are building a stronger, more prepared force to tackle any challenge that comes our way!

Recently, our Soldiers participated in the anniversary of the Liberation of Orléans, France, during WWII. This annual event recognizes the strong history of partnership between the two countries, which was exemplified in August 1944 as French Resistance forces teamed with American forces to liberate the city of Orléans.

We greatly appreciate the city of Orléans and the Franco-American Association for continuing to host and welcome us with open arms.
