UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, TODAY, THE 28TH DAY, OF APRIL 2022:

In line with the Court-Ordered guideline, we conducted the routine visit to our indefatigable Client - Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the DSS Headquarters today.

Pertinent concerns on legal matters of engaging urgency were frankly discussed with Onyendu, and the outcomes were fruitful.

Onyendu’s continued use of same clothing is increasingly worrisome as the DSS personnel have blatantly denied him change of clothing in their usual flagrant disobedience of Court Orders.

Recall that at the last adjourned date, being the 8th day of April, 2022, this issue was raised and the Judge ordered that Onyendu’s clothes should be taken along by the DSS after the proceedings, and should be promptly handed over to him upon their return to the DSS facility.

Unfortunately, it is utterly disheartening to note that up until the time of our visit today, Onyendu has not been handed those clothes for a change.

Despite clear and unequivocal directive from His Lordship to the DSS' lawyer to ensure that the Court Order is obeyed, the DSS in their usual style roundly ignored and treated it with utmost disdain, as they are yet to comply with this recurrent Court Order, requiring Onyendu’s change of clothing.

We were also, reliably informed by Onyendu that his meals are no longer served regularly. Onyendu barely eats once in a day, and this situation is not helping his deteriorating medical condition.

The lawless DSS personnel have remained adamant with the manner in which they treat Court orders with levity and disdain, which is totally unacceptable as no one is above the law anywhere in the world.

Be assured UmuChineke that we, in the legal team are not resting on our oars towards ensuring that these infractions are addressed with immediate effect.

Consistent with his nature of gratitude, Onyendu thanks you all, millions of his supporters and Ezigbo UmuChineke for relentlessly standing tall, it is not taken for granted by Onyendu.

Also, Onyendu specifically requested that I inform you all, that you are in his prayers always too. Above all, he requests that you should all be assured that it will end in VICTORY in no distant time.

Thank you all and remain blessed, Ezigbo UmuChineke.

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, TODAY BEING THE 7TH DAY OF APRIL, 2022:

Today, our team of lawyers conducted the Court-Ordered routine visit to our indefatigable Client - Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the DSS Headquarters.

The visit was to put finishing touches to the preparations for tomorrow’s all important Court Ruling on our Application challenging the competence of the 15-Count Amended Charge filed by the Prosecution.

Onyendu was duly briefed on the pertinent matters incidental to tomorrow’s outing, as well as today’s Suit filed on his behalf by Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, our Lead Counsel on Onyendu's case.

The Suit is requesting for the Court's compelling interpretation of relevant Statutory Provisions and International Treaties/Conventions, which the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) grossly violated in their desperation to abduct, and forcefully rendition Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria.

Consistent with the usual practice of the DSS personnel, they have continued to rebuff every attempt at ensuring that Onyendu has a change of clothing. The lawless DSS personnel, bluntly rejected all clothings brought by our Client's relatives. Again, in clear violation of the extant Orders of the Court.

In line with the Court's directives, we meticulously ensured that the new clothings met the specifications of the Court, and consequently beat the DSS to their games, so that by tomorrow, they will have no excuse to give to the Court for deliberately flouting the positive Orders of the Court.

We also observed with dismay, as Onyendu's impeccable account revealed that he is not receiving proper medical attention in the custody of the DSS as his health condition is gradually deteriorating.

This will be addressed in court tomorrow, particularly in view of the DSS persistent contempt of the Order of Court directing them to allow Onyendu access to his private doctor for an independent medical examination to ascertain his current health condition. This is also a right guaranteed under the Anti-Torture Act.

Onyendu is confident that justice will be done tomorrow, and we are ever ready to promptly explore all permissible legal avenues to challenge any pronouncement not supported by Law and decisions of Superior Courts, in the unlikely event that any of the counts still survived our legal arsenal.

Onyendu, as usual, expresses his profound appreciation to Ezigbo UmuChineke who have remained resolute in their belief, focused and confident that the days ahead are brighter, even on the face of every tribulation and adversaries.

This phase too shall surely come to pass and soon, it shall end in Praises. Victory is ours and there is no going back until victory is achieved.

You all will see Onyendu LIVE and FIRM tomorrow.

Thank you all for your prayers and untiring solidarity, please note that it can never be taken for granted.

We appreciate you all, Ezigbo UmuChineke. Remain blessed.

Our Court-Ordered routine visit to our indefatigable Client Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was undertaken today.

Cardinal subject forming the fulcrum of our discussion centered on our final strategy towards handling the outcome of the anticipated Ruling, come Friday, on our Application challenging the competence of the Charge.

Our expectations within the precincts of enabling laws were noted and taken cognizance of.
Onyendu is eminently ready for Friday’s Ruling. He is firm in his disposition and strong in his conviction.

ChukwuOkike Abiama will take absolute control come 8th April, 2022 and we expect justice to be manifestly seen to have been done at the end of the proceedings.

Be assured that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Onyendu's freedom will happen soon. It is forward ever and backward never!

Onyendu requested millions of his followers, supporters and Ezigbo UmuChineke to remain strong in prayers, particularly as this special day approaches. You all should remain resolute in the belief that Onyendu will emerge victorious in no distant time.

Onyendu is enthused over the conduct of Ezigbo UmuChineke, and urges you all to keep up the good work.

Thank you all and remain hugely blessed, Ezigbo UmuChineke.

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SECURITY SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, ON THE 21ST DAY OF MARCH, 2022.

Today, we visited Onyendu who is in the custody of the Department of Security Services, Abuja. Our interaction with him was quite fruitful and ended on a positive note.

Our discussion centred on two main things, namely, the frivolous criminal proceedings pending against him at the Federal High Court, Abuja, and the criminal destruction of the country home of Prof George Obiozor.

Onyendu remains firm and resolute in his convictions that his present experience is part of the sacrifice he is bound to make for the actualisation of his dream for the emancipation of UMUCHINEKE. He re-affirms the confidence he reposes in the legal team defending him at the Federal High Court, Abuja, ably led by Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and prays that the Ruling that would be delivered on the 8th of April, 2022, on the Notice of Preliminary Objection, would end in his favour.
Onyendu also took sometime to express his anger and grave disapproval of the heinous act of destruction of the country home of the elder statesman and President General of Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Prof George Obiozor. He describes the said destruction as cowardly and barbaric and condemns it in very strong terms. He further describes it as uncharitable, noting that the said elder statesman has been in the vanguard of behind-the- scene endeavours, discussions and negotiations, all aimed at exploring and implementing the option of a political solution, as a parallel way of ending the prevailing state of affairs.
He declares that the perpetrators of the heinous act shall not be forgiven and went ahead to direct that all persons who were in any way involved in committing the dastardly act be fished out forthwith.
He reminds UMUCHINEKE to be eternally conscious of several atrocities committed on our land by strangers whose primary objective is to destroy and plunder our land and then turn around to falsely accuse our people. He further notes that Prof Obiozor has been a commendable ally since his incarceration in June, 2021, and made the point that he is not an enemy of UMUCHINEKE. That being so, the elder statesman should be protected and encouraged for speaking up against the several multifaceted ills meted out both to him and to UMUCHINEKE as a whole. He further notes that the elder statesman has been instrumental in the regular presence which members of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo has shown in all the court appearances of Onyendu. This socio-cultural group has steadfastly and consistently made legal representation in the criminal proceedings pending against Onyendu at the Federal High Court Abuja. Onyendu remains appreciative and eternally grateful to that body for this commendable gesture.
Further, Onyendu points out that it was at the instance of Prof George Obiozor that a delegation of Igbo elders, led by a former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, consistently showed visible presence in all his appearances in court and has gone ahead on several occasions to attempt to pay him a visit at the DSS headquarters, which attempts were frustrated by the personnel of DSS. Onyendu warns that our elder statesmen should be protected at all times and that the monsters desecrating Igbo land should be fished out wherever they are and severely punished, in order to serve as a deterrent to their ilks.
Onyendu further declares that IPOB remains a peaceful, non-violent self-determination group which completely detests and abhors any form of violence. He therefore urges UMUCHINEKE to continue to be law abiding and remain focused on the objective of the group. He urges his followers to shun violence and remain peaceful in their agitation for a permanent liberation of UMUCHINEKE from the shackles of bo***ge and stranglehold of underdevelopment that have held them from attaining their fullest potentials as special creatures of ChukwuOkikeAbiama.

Onyendu remains grateful to millions of his teeming fans and supporters for their steadfastness and unwavering resolve to achieve their objective.
He urges millions of UMUCHINEKE to come out and contribute efforts in clearing the debris in the burnt country home of Prof George Obiozor any time he indicates interest in commencing work. Onyendu further calls on people of good conscience and well to do UMUCHINEKE to assist the elder statesman rebuild his country home whenever he expresses the desire to do so.
Finally, Onyendu urges UMUCHINEKE throughout the world to pray fervently and ceaselessly for him even as the adjourned date for his next court appearance draws near.
Thank you, UMUCHINEKE and remain blessed.

Many injured, shops burnt as Yorubas, Hausas clash in Ogun

There was pandemonium in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Monday, when some Yoruba youths and their Hausa counterparts engaged one another in a bloody clash.

The clash occurred at the popular Lafenwa Market in Abeokuta, as residents panicked over repeated gunshots

It was gathered that the clash which started on Monday evening snowballed into a full-blown crisis by Tuesday morning with several shops razed and many injured.

Our sources say the crisis was ignited by a fight between a Yoruba man and a Hausa man.

The Hausa man was presumed dead, having sustained serious injuries, development sources said provoked the Hausa traders, who reportedly went on a rampage, destroying properties worth millions of Naira.

An eyewitness, who confirmed the incident, said the crisis took a worse turn when the Seriki Hausa (head of Hausa settlers), who was called to intervene in the crisis was seriously injured.

“The Seriki Hausa who was called upon to settle the issue was injured and this further worsened the crisis.

“The man is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba”, the source, who preferred anonymity, said.

The Ogun police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident, saying the situation had been brought under control.

He said no life was lost, contrary to the report that a Hausa man was killed in the incident.

Oyeyemi added that the police had arrested several persons in connection to the crisis.

“I’m aware of the clash, but the situation has been brought under control. We have made some arrests. I don’t want to disclose the number of persons we have arrested, but we have made some arrests.

“But, contrary to what people are insinuating, no life was lost, but people were injured while shops were also burnt and property destroyed.

“We are still investigating the clash. The crisis is a result of a rumour because there was a clash between a Hausa man and a Yoruba man. I think the Hausa man was injured and some people went to town with the rumour that the injured man died and that was what led to the whole thing and the issue escalated.

“But, contrary to that rumour, no life was lost, and we are still investigating and after a thorough investigation, whoever that is found culpable will be charged to court”, Oyeyemi said.

Meanwhile, traders who lost their wares to the crisis berated the police, saying, “the police did not answer us when we went to their station to report.”

DAILY POST reports that the Lafenwa police divisional headquarters is right beside the market.

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR AMIABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA:

Today, being the 7th day of March, 2022, we observed the Court-Ordered visit to our indefatigable Client.

Our exclusive interaction today, offered us the unique opportunity to brainstorm on strategic legal dynamics on all pending IPOB cases, with particular regard to the envisaged possible outcome of the 8th April, 2022 scheduled proceedings.

Needless to reiterate the fact that no Court in Nigeria has the jurisdiction to proceed with the trial of Onyendu, who was extraordinarily renditioned to Nigeria. This is a grave infraction, which is in clear violation of Nigerian Law, specifically Article 12 (4) of the ACHPR (Ratification and Enforcement) Act, Cap A9 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. We need not reopen our argument here.

Onyendu was extensively briefed on pertinent developments, and his words of encouragement and reaffirmation of trust/confidence in our legal team is all we need to keep up with the legal fireworks.

Onyendu was further assured that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that Justice is done in his case, because he has committed no offence known to law. His present incarceration represents a punishment for offence he never committed, this would explain the amendment of the Charge six consecutive times in search of phantom/non-existent offences.

Onyendu commended his followers, especially those who have remained unshaken and undistracted in their undiluted loyalty to him and to those steering the ship on his behalf.

Onyendu remains firm in spirit and strong in conviction, even as he implores UmuChineke to continue to abide by best practices. He also specially commended you all for your peaceful conduct.

Your continued prayers and supplications remains critical during this period as we positively approach the D-Day with deserved expectation.

We appreciate you, Ezigbo UmuChineke and remain hugely blessed.

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) HEADQUARTERS ABUJA ON 3RD MARCH 2022:

The court-ordered routine visit to our indefatigable Client - Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was observed yesterday, 3rd March, 2022.

After days, which turned into weeks of grandstanding, we were able to meet with our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. In his unshaken/undeterred resolve, Onyendu was in high spirits yesterday.

Onyendu took time to explain why he protested against the denial of access to his lawyers during the last three successive visits. He was deeply troubled with those incidents, particularly when it was done in flagrant disregard and violation of extant Orders of Court.

We understood Onyendu’s grouse and seized the opportunity to intimate him of the measures we have taken so far to ensure that such ugly incident does not reoccur.

Onyendu used the opportunity to offer advice and words of encouragement particularly to myself. He took his time to urge me to remain resolute and focused, and never to be distracted by the deliberate evil ploys of the enemies to break me.

Indeed, Onyendu saw tomorrow! Unknown to him that at the time he was handing down these words of encouragement and encomium, the slander mongers were hurriedly putting together another stunt which, was however, DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

Onyendu particularly encouraged me to be strong and even more stronger in the coming days. He said that I should expect more and more slander, but I should be assured that himself and UmuChineke will always be there for me.

We all agreed that this is a very critical period as victory is staring on our faces and, any opportunity offered to be distracted will take us back because the enemies are united in their resolve but their evil plots are all surmountable.

As for me, I am firm and solid any day any time. I remain firm like the rock of Gibraltar!
Forward ever and backward never.

On a lighter note, Onyendu requested his visiting team to make out time to hang out and enjoy some bottles of drinks.

In summary, Onyendu is in very strong and firm spirit now than before. He implores all his followers and UmuChineke to remain undivided, resolute and unshaken in their resolve for victory.

Onyendu assures everyone that he will come out victorious and stronger. He commended his supporters and UmuChineke, and urged you to remain prayerful and continue to be peaceful in your conduct as you have always demonstrated over time. Onyendu is profoundly proud of you all.

We appreciate you all, UmuChineke, for your support and perseverance. Be assured that it will surely end in PRAISES.

Thank you all and remain blessed.

*UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, TODAY THE 28TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 2022:*

Our routine court-ordered visit to our indefatigable Client was led by the distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prof. Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, who is also the Lead Counsel in Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's case.

Our esteemed team of Lawyers comprising of the Learned Silk, myself and Bar. Aloy Ejimakor, were all cleared most promptly upon our arrival, and consequently allowed to proceed with the business of the day- to pay Nnamdi Kanu a visit as his lawyers.

We were immediately ushered into the room designated for the visit. All the protocols were duly observed, as we willingly submitted ourselves to same, in line with the DSS stipulated routine guidelines. We waited until minutes turned into an hour, and there was no signal that we would have Onyendu brought to us.

Consequently, the erudite Silk leading our team raised alarm and demanded to have the attention of the DSS superiors for explanation on why a court-ordered visit which, ordinarily, should not extend beyond two hours was taking almost one and half hour waiting time, with no hope of meeting with Onyendu.

Following the stout protest by the erudite Silk, we were consequently brought in, to meet with some superior officers at a meeting where all superior personnel connected with the matter were invited.Far-reaching contacts were made to establish the fact that our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was presumably protesting the previous three visits which were aborted by the DSS.

All efforts made to move the visit to his very location of detention were not granted by the DSS, as they insisted that our request ran contrary to their procedure and guidelines.

Effort is presently being intensified to pacify Onyendu to have one-on-one discussion with his legal team, to enable us brief him on legal steps we may be compelled to take and measures to be adopted to assure him that there are legal consequences for flagrant violations of court orders by the DSS.

We are quite hopeful that this needless impasse will be resolved between now and tomorrow morning,to enable the legal team led by Chief Ozekhome, SAN, to conduct the visit tomorrow. That has so far been assured us.

We can authoritatively confirm to you all at this stage that ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU is very much alive, and still being detained in the facility of the State Security Services (DSS) National Headquarters, Abuja.

We shall continue to keep you updated on matters connected with this visit to our indefatigable Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and any other compelling attendant concerns thereto.

Thank you all, UMUCHINEKE and remain richly blessed.

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, TODAY, THE 24TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2022:

Our routine court ordered visit to our indefatigable Client - Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu today was led by our most erudite foremost Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, who is also the Lead Counsel in this case.

The officials of the DSS denied us access to Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for the umpteenth time, in flagrant violation of the subsisting Order of Court, while insisting that their personnel assigned to receive us will only be available on Monday next week to conduct the visit.

This development unarguably, did not go down well with our visiting team as the Learned Silk leading us promptly registered the displeasure of the entire legal team and teeming followers of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in very clear terms.

Our Learned SAN however, obliged the pleas of the officer in charge, who assured certainty on Monday’s visit. The Learned Silk reiterated that he will again be leading Onyendu's legal team next week Monday for the visit and will not tolerate any further excuse(s).

The Learned Silk urged for restraint, while noting that if by Monday, 28th February 2022, we are not allowed access to our client, then he will have something to say to the world, and in the language they will understand.

We were all disappointed by this ugly trend, but we will be visiting again on Monday. There is no going back nor relenting, because it is forward ever and backward never.

It is to be noted, with utter dismay, that the present Administration has drifted to an unfortunate era where Orders issued by Courts of competent jurisdiction are treated with contempt, and with grave impunity by institutions whose primary mandate is to promote the Rule of Law.

Unfortunately, this is the sorry state of the nation. But, we will see how far they can progress with this macabre dance.

We shall continue to keep you in regular update of every development in this case as we progress.

Thank you all UMUCHINEKE and remain blessed.
Please, remain focused and let your eyes always be on the ball. This too shall come to pass as we are gradually coming to the end of their drama.
