Nachdem die Seaside ausgefallen ist, wackelt nun auch der SYCLD Contest in Eindhoven.

Hello everyone, hope you are all good and not affected too much by the Corona virus consequences. ⁣
⁣⁣
⁣For SYCLD, we do not cancel the event at this point as long as no ‘extra damage’ is done. For us we continue preparing because then at least we have some chance in case we can hold any version of SYCLD 2020. ⁣
⁣⁣
⁣SO.. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS for YOU at this moment: ⁣
⁣- Did you book a flight / travel to the Netherlands and can you get this refunded, use this possibility in case this is limited by a certain date. We are talking to Blue Collar hotel about possibilities. Would you like to know specifically about your booking please contact them directly. ⁣
⁣- You didn’t book your travels yet? Wait.. ⁣
⁣⁣
⁣Why we not cancel the event at this point yet is because many people have saved up a long time to being able to afford their travel to the event. There are people (maybe also among you) who have non refundable plane tickets and we want to do our very best to try to see what we can do for them. Also in case the tide will change we like to be prepared and be able to hold the event (in whatever what form). We have to see what next weeks bring and anticipate on that. Of course foremost we will have close contact with governmental health organisations and will follow their advise.⁣

⁣There are a few scenario’s⁣
⁣- The event can take place as normal (the chances of this happening is decreasing rapidly)⁣
⁣- The event will take place in a slightly smaller form, only people who can and feel comfortable to attend will be there ⁣
⁣- The event will be postponed ⁣
⁣- There will be no event in 2020⁣
⁣⁣
⁣No one knows what the situation will be in a month.. we’ll keep our fingers crossed and keep you updated! For now we just continue our work and hope you all have the possibility to have fun and go out and SKATE! ⁣
