✨ We’re Looking for a Special Kind of Volunteer.

At Landstuhl Army Fisher House, we support military families during some of their most difficult moments, providing a home away from home while their loved ones receive care at LRMC.

And right now, we have a unique volunteer opportunity that makes a direct difference in the comfort and care of our guests.

We’re building a team of Fisher House Ambassadors, compassionate community members who help us stock our home with the everyday essentials our families need. As an Ambassador, you’ll use Fisher House gift cards to shop the commissary on our behalf, picking up pantry staples, that keep our doors and our hearts open.

It’s flexible. It’s meaningful. And it’s one of the most tangible ways you can show up for a military family in need.

If you’re someone who:
✔️ Enjoys making a difference in a practical, hands-on way
✔️ Has access to the commissary
✔️ Wants to be part of something bigger than a shopping trip

While Veterans Day and Memorial Day both honor those who served our country, they carry different meanings.

Veterans Day celebrates all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

This Memorial Day, we pause not only to remember our fallen heroes, but also the families who carry their legacy forward every day. Behind every name remembered is a family forever changed by service and sacrifice.

We are honored to stand beside military and veteran families during life’s most difficult moments, providing comfort, connection, and support when it matters most.

Today, we remember. We honor. We are grateful. 🇺🇸❤️

Being a military spouse often involves a unique kind of selfless service: the kind that happens quietly behind the scenes, and often without public recognition. Your resilience, heart, and tireless efforts are the true backbone of the military community.

🌷Spring is here, and our tulips are doing what they do best, pushing up through the soil and bringing a little color and hope to our corner of the world.

We love that our gardens bring joy to everyone who passes by, but we kindly ask, please don’t cut or pick our tulips.

Our Fisher House guests are families navigating some of the most stressful moments of their lives, and these blooms are here to greet them when they step outside for a breath of fresh air.

Thank you for helping us keep this space beautiful for the families who need it most. 🌷
