🇩🇪 Berufliche Perspektiven für Mädchen in Pakistan 🇵🇰🎓
Von März bis September lief das Projekt Paktiv III in Südpunjab. Gemeinsam mit unserem Projektpartner GIBBZ e. V. und der lokalen Organisation Action Against Poverty ging es um eine Frage: Wie bekommen Mädchen eine echte berufliche Perspektive? 💡
An zehn Mädchenschulen wurden dafür 20 Werkstätten eingerichtet, je eine für IT und Grafikdesign und eine für Mode- und Textildesign 🧵💻
20 Lehrkräfte wurden qualifiziert, 550 Schülerinnen lernen dort inzwischen digitale Gestaltung, Bildbearbeitung, Zuschneiden und Nähen. Selbst in den Sommerferien ging es weiter: Die Summer Schools an allen zehn Standorten waren durchgehend voll besetzt ☀️
Das Ergebnis macht uns stolz: 90 % der befragten Schülerinnen sagen, dass die Werkstätten ihnen eine klare berufliche Perspektive eröffnet haben 💪
Die Werkstätten und die ausgebildeten Lehrkräfte bleiben an den Schulen. Damit profitieren auch künftige Jahrgänge davon ❤️
🇬🇧 Career prospects for girls in Pakistan 🇵🇰🎓
From March to September, the Paktiv III project ran in South Punjab. Together with our project partner GIBBZ e. V. and the local organisation Action Against Poverty, one question was at the centre: how can girls gain real career prospects? 💡
At ten girls' schools, 20 workshops were set up, one for IT and graphic design and one for fashion and textile design at each school 🧵💻
20 teachers were trained, and 550 students now learn digital design, image editing, pattern cutting and sewing there. Even during the summer holidays the learning continued: the summer schools at all ten locations were fully attended ☀️
And the outcome makes us proud: 90 % of the students surveyed say the workshops have given them a clear career perspective 💪
The workshops and the trained teachers stay at the schools, so future year groups will benefit too ❤️
