WOW experiences for our UPK students at KES! 🐞🌿🪴

🐞Vic, a Kaiserslautern HS CP student, shared her knowledge and love of insects with KES PreK students.

🌻Ms. Jackie, parent of a PreK student, also visited to share her passion for plants, flowers, and herbs.

🪲In addition, the LRMC Entomologist presented to students as part of the PreK Unit of Study: Insects.

PreK students at KES are learning all about insects. Through these special visits, students explored bugs, insects, plants, and flowers in exciting hands-on ways. Students had the opportunity to touch Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, discuss what makes a bug an insect (or not!), and see and smell a variety of plant seeds and flowers.

💚Thank you to our wonderful community members and visitors for helping bring learning to life for our students! 💚
