From chapel services to community egg hunts, Airmen and families across the Kaiserslautern Military Community came together for Easter celebrations.

RELATIONSHIPS | Strengthening NATO interoperability 🌍🪂

The 86th Operations Support Squadron hosted the European Airborne Airlift Conference at Ramstein Air Base, bringing together approximately 100 personnel from 14 NATO countries to enhance coordination across airborne, airlift, aeromedical and maintenance communities. The week-long event provided a platform for partners to exchange ideas, align capabilities and develop joint training opportunities.

Participants applied those lessons during a multinational airborne operation, where U.S., German and Canadian paratroopers executed a live jump from a C-130J Super Hercules. By integrating procedures, conducting joint inspections and operating from a shared platform, Allied forces strengthened their ability to operate seamlessly together in competitive environments.

HERITAGE | 76th AS honors fallen Airmen through remembrance ride 🚴🏻‍♀️

Airmen from the 76th Airlift Squadron conducted a memorial bike ride to honor Staff Sgt. Grant Davis, who lost his life in 2016 during an off-base cycling accident.

Remembered as a caring teammate with a passion for fitness and cycling, his legacy continues to inspire the squadron as they promote safety awareness across the Ramstein community.

Airmen from the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron repaired a throttle quadrant, restoring full aircraft functionality. From inspecting tools to installing components and coordinating solutions, our Airmen work together to ensure all critical systems operate safely and effectively.

86th AMXS Airmen ensure our C-130Js remain ready for rapid deployment, demonstrating the 86th Airlift Wing’s status as the Global Gateway, poised to project airpower anytime, anywhere.

Due to mission requirements, manned hours at our fitness facilities are changing until further notice.

🔹 Southside Fitness Center: 0500–2100 M-F | 0800–1800 Sat
🔹 Vogelweh Fitness Center: 1200–1800 M-F
🔹 Northside Fitness Center: Unmanned – 24 Hour Access Only

Please note:
▪️ Fitness classes will continue as scheduled
▪️ Payments accepted at Southside during manned hours only
▪️ Personal Training & Massage available by appointment
▪️ No sauna use during unmanned hours
