ACC will consolidate its social media presence of all subordinate unit pages under the ACC headquarters effective Feb. 26, 2026, in accordance with Secretary of the Army Directive 2025 25. This transition will ensure ACC social media platforms continue to be a reliable source for news and information about Army contracting.

Streamlining our unit pages ensures followers receive consistent, accurate and timely updates —direct from ACC headquarters. ACC strives to highlight the issues that matter most to our customers, mission partners, Soldiers, and Army Civilians.

She also gained valuable insights on cross-branch leadership and mentoring in a 3.5-day professional development course with senior Air Force leaders. 🤝

Big smiles and plenty of elbow grease! 😄🧼

The 409th CSB spent the day volunteering at the USO, helping deep clean the facility to keep it ready for the thousands of troops who pass through. It was a great day of bonding for our team and a chance to directly support the morale and well-being of the broader military community.

We love our USO and are proud to help keep it ready for the mission! ❤️🤝

🦃🏀🌶️ 409th's Annual Turkey Bowl & Chili Cook-Off:The 409th CSB brought the heat, both on the court and in the kitchen, for our annual Turkey Bowl Basketball Game and Chili Cook-Off!

NCO vs. Officer Basketball showdown was an absolute nail-biter! After an intense, hard fought battle where both teams demonstrated incredible teamwork and skill, the final score was... a perfectly tie! (😉 We hear the tie-breaker is scheduled for next year!) Huge thanks to all who played and cheered!

The real competition sizzled at the 2025 409th CSB Chili Cook-Off! We had some amazing entries, but the spoon of victory goes to:

On November 4, 2025, Soldiers of the 409th CSB gathered at Daenner Chapel for a time-honored tradition, the Change of Responsibility ceremony.

Command Sergeant Major Jalila A. Wahid passed the role of senior enlisted advisor to Command Sergeant Major Nadejda E. Vorobyeva-Santiago.

The 409th CSB proudly welcomes CSM Vorobyeva-Santiago and honors the dedicated service of CSM Wahid. The Fighting 409th continues its mission with strength, unity, and excellence. 🪖👏🏼

Congratulations SFC Proctor for displaying exceptional heart, grit, resilience, and pure strength during the Sembach Bench Press Competition hosted by the 409th CSB. She benched pressed a total of 125lbs🏆💪🏾

Her performance was nothing short of outstanding.
Her unwavering commitment to excellence, continuous self-improvement, and dedication to physical fitness propelled her to a well-earned 1st Place victory.

In recognition of her achievement, SFC Proctor received the 1st Place trophy, a 409th CSB coin, Sergeant Morales Club coin, Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz coin, and an NCO coin.

The 409th CSB participated in Joint Forces Medical Training with the Air Force’s 86th Medical Group, in October, focusing on essential medical readiness. This annual requirement ensures our Soldiers are prepared to respond effectively in dynamic operational environments.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Air Force’s 86th Medical Group for their expertise and dedication in delivering high-quality instruction that enhances our unit’s readiness and resilience.

The 409th CSB came together to wrap up a busy fiscal year with our EOFY Celebration Feasts! Each unit brought their own flavor and spirit to the table, reminding us that even during the most hectic times, teamwork and camaraderie make all the difference.

COD kicked things off in traditional German garb with a hearty breakfast 🇩🇪🥨

CAD came in with a country western charm themed lunch 🤠🌽

OPS showed their team spirit with a sports-themed lunch 🏆⚽

CMD kept things fun with a crazy sock lunch 🧦🎉

SPO took us to the islands with a Hawaiian lunch 🌺🍍

SOD topped it off with a crazy hat, all-American breakfast 🇺🇸 🥓

MAJ. GEN. Douglas S. Lowrey, Commanding General of U.S. Army Contracting Command visited the 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Theater Contracting Center and 21st Theater Sustainment Command, August 18 -22, 2025. Demonstrating Army Contracting Command’s (ACC) continued commitment to mission partners in the European Theater.
During his visit, he hosted a Town Hall for the Fightin' 409th CSB workforce, where he shared the latest updates from ACC and engaged directly with personnel through a Q&A session and recognized a few outstanding brigade members.
We're grateful for your leadership, MAJ. GEN. Douglas S. Lowrey, and look forward to your continued support in ensuring mission readiness across the European Theater. Thank you for all you do!
