ACC will consolidate its social media presence of all subordinate unit pages under the ACC headquarters effective Feb. 26, 2026, in accordance with Secretary of the Army Directive 2025 25. This transition will ensure ACC social media platforms continue to be a reliable source for news and information about Army contracting.

The 928th Contracting Battalion wasted no time getting after it and knocking out their Army Fitness Test (AFT) before the winter sets in. As temperatures drop, our Soldiers continue to rise, demonstrating grit, discipline, and unwavering commitment to readiness.

Bittersweet moment as we farewell SSG Siler

SSG Siler has made an incredible impact during his time with the 928th Contracting Battalion and the 409th Contracting Support Brigade. His leadership, dedication, and expertise as the Contracting Battalion Support Operations NCO strengthened missions across 28 countries and supported thousands of Soldiers throughout the EUCOM area.

From managing over $21M in vital contracts to improving systems that made operations smoother and more efficient, he’s been a driving force behind so much success. His professionalism, innovation, and heart for service truly set the standard for excellence.

As he moves on to his next chapter, his legacy of commitment, teamwork, and excellence will continue to inspire those he’s worked with. You’ll truly be missed, SSG Siler thank you for all you’ve done, and best of luck on your next assignment!

On 19 September 2025, the 928th CBn conducted a Change of Responsibility, where LTC Semper transferred authority from SGM Kendall J. Haynie to SGM Jennifer E. Franks as the battalion’s senior enlisted advisor.

MSG Malone, the color bearer, passed the colors to SGM Haynie for the final time, marking the end of his tenure. SGM Haynie then passed the colors to LTC Semper, relinquishing his authority and responsibility as battalion SGM. LTC Semper subsequently passed the colors to SGM Franks, officially appointing her as 928th CBn’s SGM and entrusting her with the associated responsibilities and authorities. SGM Franks returned the colors to MSG Malone for safekeeping, ensuring the continuity of the battalion’s heritage and leadership.

Welcome SGM Franks. SGM Haynie departs to assume the role of CSM for the 418th CSB.
