From Algeria to Sudan, powerful movements are spreading.
The Sudanese Revolution has been an inspiration to workers, women and youth around the world. The women in particular have revealed tremendous revolutionary potential.
The counter-revolution has been manoeuvring to try and create a situation of apparent breakdown in social order, using criminal gangs pretending to be revolutionaries.
The number of casualties at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Sudan, after they clamped down on the protests last week, has reached 113, with 70 rapes taking place.
If the people at the top who ordered this butchery thought it would quell the revolt of the Sudanese people, they clearly miscalculated.
The Sudanese masses have shown unmatched levels of power, determination and imagination, what is needed is to focus this power on the key tasks of the revolution: the complete overthrow of the old regime, along with all of its militias and the armed forces, and breaking its grip on the economy.
The task of the Sudanese Revolution is to break with the capitalist system, whose crisis led directly to the spark that lit the flame of the current revolutionary movement. Only the Sudanese workers can forge this new future. They must sweep away the relics of past regimes and take their destiny into their own hands.
Down with the Junta!
Down with Hemeti and the RSF!
Long live the general strike!
For a revolutionary insurrection to take down the TMC and the rest of the rotten Sudanese capitalist regime!
