Dear all, more than two weeks have passed by since the end of our beautiful Genshagen Trilateral Summerschool 2019 and the summer seems to slowly say goodbye... Feeding our nostalgia, we would like to present to you a retrospect of the 10 days spent together - with lectures, workshops, "students meet practitioners" sessions, visits to the Federal Foreign Office and the European Council on Foreign Relations` Berlin office, but also with long talks, uncountable badminton, volleyball, ping pong and billiards games; in a word: with a vivid and inspiring exchange of students from many different backgrounds. It has been a blast and we would like to thank everyone for making this possible! Thanks to the students, thanks to the lecturers and practitioners, thanks to our partner universities Uniwersytet Jagielloński, ScPo Strasbourg, Europa-Universität Viadrina and Freie Universität Berlin, and thanks to the support by the Auswärtiges Amt.

We are wishing a great end of the year to everyone and hope to see you again! ....Maybe at the Genshagen Trilateral Summer School 2020 😉

Our Story

Genshagen castle, only a few kilometres south of Berlin, is the perfect setting for students from universities in Germany, France and Poland to come together and discuss important and timely topics of European relevance. The aim of our Trilateral Genshagen Summer School is twofold: Firstly, we want to give students the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the topic of the Summer School and secondly, we want to provide a platfrom where students can enter into a dialogue on different national positions regarding the topic and find ways to reconcile them.
